Life changing. Makes wearing a loaded backpack so much easier.

I tried out the VentaPak which provides airspace between your back and your backpack, a bit small (it is the small size) so had to adjust where it sat, but kept my back cool on a 9mi, 1,800' vertical hike yesterday. Definately recommend if you're back gets hot/sweaty.

I love it! Kept by back cool so I could wear my backpack on my walk to work.

I set this up on my backpacking backpack, it was soooo uncomfortable on my lower back and gave me a massive bruise from it digging into my spine. My pack was 30 pounds... so wouldn't recommend for any added weight. I'm 5'4, 120 pounds and my pack was 30 pounds i use a s/xs pack. maybe if the straps on the bottom could attach to the very bottom of the backpack it MIGHT work but attaching them where it's suggested did NOT work for me extremely uncomfortable.

Edit 6.4.23:The seller sent a version with revised buckles, they seem sturdier and have not broken yet. Will post another updated in a few months after using it this summer.Original review below:Both plastic buckles broke after I tightened it the first time. I contacted the seller and he told me they were working on that issue and sent me a second unit. It worked for 3 days and then the buckles stretched out so far from the tension that they broke as well.The concept is great but until these issues are addressed I don't recommend buying.

When I hike, I carry a backpack with a water bladder, similar to a camelback. The backpack was causing my back to get very hot and sweat heavily. With this vent frame, I don’t have that problem. It allows air to circulate and feels great! I’ve already recommended it to others.

Very disappointed. The first time I tried to use it the strap broke from the top. Do NOT try to get it to bend and create space between your pack and back like shown in the pictures. It does not hold up. Signed, sweaty back.
