It feels great to have a working car stereo in my car again. JVC is an old & reliable brand & the stereo also looks great in my vehicle.

Well it was open box so I was cheap, and definitely worth it!

Bluetooth connection & radio signal are clear and strong. Only complaint is usb only works to charge. Does not read thumbdrive or phone content.

The unit was very easy to install and use and the performance is up to standard. Money well spent and would buy again if needed.

This unit has a lot of features, but it struggles with a lack of intuitive design. The functions are difficult to find and use because of that, and this causes a steep learning curve in JVC products. The biggest problem is that it relies upon the automobile battery to keep its settings rather than having a built-in capacitor. This is a big problem for vehicles that are not used every day or have battery such-off systems. It obviously has some built-in settings because it comes on at the same channel all the time and the defaults cannot be changed. Time will tell if it will handle the sound output well. The reason I chose it is because it fit in the space available and had a CD player function, otherwise I would have returned it. The category of units available with the options desired is getting narrower by the day.

Installed this in a Ranger PU. Easiest and cleanest install I’ve ever done.

Not the greatest, it's okay for the price, but not the quality if your looking for a nice stereo. Has way to many functions that don't seem to make it sound any better. The clock also doesn't keep proper time.

Key things here is this unit has a Pro Eq mode for audio frequency adjustment as some frequencies you will want to reduce while driving. It has Alexa which can be voice activated or via button. It has song/artist/show display for FM radio as well as streaming audio from your phone. It has a front charging port for your phone or device. It plays CDs! The only thing I wish it had was ability to change the LED color display to match the dash instrument lights (default blue). If your device connected via Bluetooth has internet access you can turn on location to have Alexa suggest things near you. My only gripe with this feature is sometimes Alexa thinks you are saying something and will lower music down but just say Alex stop!

Good basic radio/CD. The buttons are a bit puzzling though: some are tiny and black, which makes them really hard to find when driving. The balance/fader/etc. controls are hidden two menus deep, so not easy to quickly adjust when under way. Lots of adjustments for different speaker configurations, sizes, etc.

Product came shipped in the original Jvc box from the US and the box had been dropped a couple of times and damaged and the unit looked like it had been used.
