Learning Resources City Engineering and Design Building Set, Engineer STEM Toy, 100 Pieces, Ages 5+

We purchased this for our grandson’s fifth birthday and were very impressed with the detailed instructions and suggestions that necessitates adult/child time with the child doing the work and the adult being the encourager. The directions and questions got an eager response from our yet non reader. We enjoyed how it made him work on figuring things out and then think about how he would do things differently (or not). Problem solving skills were challenged and worked through. The suggested projects are great and the possibilities endless!

My 5-year old loves this building set. It is very good quality, and the picture are sturdy enough for him to build bridges and other structures and take them apart over and over again. The pieces are made from very strong plastic and the instruction cards show how to easily put pieces together to create bridges, an elevator, and baby other things. I highly recommend this product. As a teacher mom, I love this STEM toy. So many educational concepts are taught through STEM, and my boys have a lot of fun with this toy too! The cards are great to show the boys how to build various building like a bridge, a skyscraper, an elevator, etc. Then, they can expand on those ideas and change them or make them differently. On top of that, there is a creative element where the pieces can be used to create a variety of buildings. Hours of fun!

Easy to use. Stimulates children's imagination and creativity! This has been a very engaging toy for my 5 year old grandson. He loves it and can spend a good deal of time making different structures, taking them apart and then creating something new!

We have an entire closet filled with toys and games for our two grandchildren (age 5 & soon-to-be 6) and this construction set is a favorite of both our granddaughter and grandson. We wound up buying two sets as their favorite thing to do is have a competition. We usually see them individually so grandma or grandpa takes a set, they take a set, and we each build something...and the most creative design wins (as you might suspect it's always our grandchild that wins! lol). They love these sets so much we also purchased the skate park and that sits in the middle so "competitors" can add pieces from that set to their design. This set is such a great value especially these days when creative toys like this are so expensive - you truly get a lot for the money.

My three children (8, 5, & 3) really have enjoyed this set- especially my five year old son. he is not very interested in Legos or other building sets, but he has loved this set! He can make most of the designs himself, just needing a little help with things like tying or untying the knots on the ropes. He likes to build his own creations and play with his cars on them. I would love to buy more sets like this- hopefully they will make some to build on to this set!

My boys love this. It gets them away from the screen. The best part is that it has a book of challenges the questions to guide their thinking. This one actually kept them occupied for hours. A winner while trying to homeschool and social distance with no summer camp trying not to go crazy.

Very easy and straightforward instructions. my 5 year old boy loved the toy. we built the bridge, and garage and looking forward to build other things.

Pour enfant qui aime manier, bricoler, inventer... De longues heures de jeu en perspective. Mon enfant connaissait déjà car le jeu est présent en classe (raté pour la surprise...) Points négatifs : les cartes de jeu sont en anglais (traduction dans la notice d'emploi) et je n'ai pas réussi à trouver où coller tous les autocollants...
