Great Sunglasses
Light weight, slightly flexible, fits well in shirt pocket, and sits really well on the nose. My clear favorite. I also love that Maui Jim does repairs that are reasonably priced. One note that is not a negative; these glasses don’t do well hung from your collar. They will fall. So if you’re that guy, you’ve been warned.

So light it's like wearing polarized contact lenses.
I have been buying polarized sunglasses for about 30 years and have owned just about every brand you can buy for under $400, and if I could only pick one to wear forever it would be these. Most sunglasses have frames that are made from metal or acrylic plastic which makes them much heavier, and the nose pads are either likely to slip because they tend to be too smooth on metal frames or poorly integrated with the frame which allows sweat to come into contact with the nose pads, if there even are any, because they are often just ridges of hard plastic stamped into bulges of plastic where the nose pads should be. These glasses have excellent pads that are very grippy at both the nose and temple, and really the only part of the glasses that contacts your head, and tend to stay exactly where you put them, even while running on trails or shaking your head hard enough to get sweaty hair out of your eyes. The lenses are also positioned close enough to your face you don't really notice any light entering from the periphery, hence the review title comparing them to contact lenses. I read many of the negative reviews and the common theme seems to be they are easy to break, and expensive to repair. IMO they are no more likely to break than other sunglasses, and actually have more flex in them than acrylic or steel frames. In my experience acrylic frames can become brittle when cold and I have broken a couple pair just trying to remove them with a gloved had or my niece grabbing for them, and steel frames have almost no flex at all, and once the frame is bent the frame most likely needs to be replaced. I have broken these Maui Jims once so far and needed a temple replaced and I think it was $50-60 which seemed like a pretty good deal for getting like-new glasses after doing something stupid like sitting on them. If you like polarized glasses and are willing to spend what it takes for the right pair, or have never owned a pair of Maui Jim's, do yourself a favor and buy a pair of these, you may like them so much you stop wearing your other glasses altogether and even buy a 2nd pair of these to keep in case of emergency.

Maui Jim - Lighthouse - Smoke Grey Frame With aui HT Lens
I have bought many sunglasses for everyday wear as well as for golfing. I have tried the Kaenon wrap around frame with a bronze lens, and the Serengeti glasses with a Tortoise frame. With both of these being close to the forehead with the plastic wrap around frames, they are too hot and sweaty, and I have even had them fog up in the winter when I was playing golf. The wrap around frames do not get any air flow to them. I have looked at the Maui Jim Sunglasses for years, but thought they were too expensive, but after wasting money on the above sunglasses that were not right and are now sitting in a drawer, I decided to spend the money on a pair of Maui Jim rimless sunglasses. I went to my local Sunglass Hut store to try on the Maui Jim Lighthouse model and loved them, they are light weight, never get fogged up and fit a women's face perfectly. I wanted to see the color of the lenses in the bright sun before I decided on the lens color. I live in the desert and with the hot summer sun, I decided to get the "Neutral Grey," for the bright sunny days, but I found that while the darker lens is great for the beach, to me I needed a lighter lens for golf. So I just use these for everyday when I am shopping or at the beach or an outside event. I went back to the store a week after I bought the "Neutral Grey," and bought the Lighthouse in the HCL Bronze which is good for everyday with changes from a bright sunny day to a cloudy day. I have played golf with these for over a year but felt that I wished I had a lighter color lens so I could see the golf ball better. I called Maui Jim two weeks ago, and the girl suggested the Maui HT for golfing. This lens is a "High-Transmission" lens for times when most lenses would be too dark, it has a sharper contrast and more vibrant color for early morning, late afternoon, and foggy days. I have used these glasses for over three weeks playing golf three times a week in the hot desert sun, and they are the best, I can see the golf ball when it is buried in the deep rough, or on the fairway. Since these lenses let more light in but is also polarized, I am finding that these are perfect for what I am doing. When I am driving in the car, I use the HCL Bronze, and keep the Neutral Grey for other occasions. I bought these on Amazon and got free shipping with prime time, and in two days I was wearing them on the golf course. I highly recommend this style, and color, you won't be disappointed.

Better than expected. Featherweight and great optics!
These were about $100 less than I've ever spent on a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, but that doesn't mean they are any less valuable. I love these! they are super comfortable and you will forget they're on your head. The optics are usual Maui Jim quality - excellent. As they are very lightweight, they do feel rather fragile, especially for Maui Jims, which have always felt heavier than other brands to me. I don't think you'll be disappointed with these.

Very Good Fit and Very Comfortable... But Fragile
Excellent pair of sunglasses that have been my absolute favorite to wear... however I am a tad disappointed at how fragile they are. I always case them and treat them gently. Still, they snapped at the bridge for no apparent reason and were sent in for repair (repair covered by MJ). Today, I noticed some cracking at the point where the bridge joins the lens. They also attract dust and oil/smudges like crazy. Overall, solid sunglasses, but don't expect them to hold up for too long (1 to 2 years at absolute max).

Extremely light, comfortable, great for all-dayuse
I firmly believe that polarized sunglasses are a must-have for sunny days. I've had eye issues in the past, and don't want to risk my eyesight on cheap glasses. And finding a pair of quality polarized glasses for under $200 is a steal. Beyond being a good value, these excel in comfort. They're so light that it's easy to forget you're wearing them. Especially for long days, that's a must have. The contrast is great also. Maybe a tad less contrast than my RayBan's, but significantly lighter and a bit cheaper. Way better than my Oakley's. I loved these so much that I purchased a second pair. They're truly that great.

Perfect Sunglasses
These sunglasses are a must. This is my second pair. With the polarized lenses, every color pops. They are lightweight and are perfect for faces with high cheekbones as their horizontal shape prevents the lenses from resting on one's cheekbones.

Price gouging
Absolutely love these sunglasses, probably my 6th set, because they are extremely flimsy and easily breakable, my 1 star is for Amazon selling these to me for $199 and the box they come in have a $189 price tag on them. Amazon is starting feel like a used car lot any more with a used car salesman working you over.
