Perfect for My 20-Year-Old Senior; Small Kibble is a Game Changer
We have been using the Acana Senior Entrée for quite some time now for my three senior girls (This is my 9th BAG!). When you're dealing with "super seniors"—including my 20-year-old—consistency and high-quality nutrition are everything. This has been a reliable choice for keeping them healthy and active. Key Observations for Senior Owners: Dental Health & Ease of Eating: My 20-year-old is missing quite a few teeth. The small kibble size is a massive plus—it requires much less chewing effort than other brands, which has really helped her digestive comfort. Tummy & Texture: One of my biggest worries with rich senior foods is diarrhea, but we have had zero issues with that on this formula. Their stools have remained consistent and healthy. Freshness & Smell: I appreciate that the food doesn’t have that overwhelming, pungent smell some high-protein brands do. The bag also does a great job of maintaining freshness over time, which is important when you're buying the larger bags. The Picky Eater Test: Even in their old age, my girls are very picky. They seem to love this flavor profile, and we haven't had any "hunger strikes" since switching. Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a senior cat food that respects the specific physical needs of aging (especially dental issues and palatability), this Acana formula is excellent.

Great for senior cats that don't like big pieces
Don't know why, his teeth are fine, but my 16 year old cat doesn't like to eat thicker pieces of dry food anymore. This is the best senior food I've found for him, the pieces are triangular & thin enough for him to easily eat them.

My cats really like this brand and it has quality ingredients, too expensive but what isn’t? Great nutrition without additional additives or fillers. Large size bags could be better priced. No diarrhea, size not as big as would like. No bad smell, smells like the ingredients!

My cat loves it!
Got this for my 15 year old cat to make sure she is getting the nutrition she needs being a senior. I’m happy she enjoys it because sometimes she can be picky.

Too pricey .
They like this but not has much as I thought it's too pricey.

Good quality food that my elderly cat enjoyed.
My 19 yr old cat used to actually enjoy eating this food without getting sick after (as he would with some foods). He has recently crossed the rainbow bridge, but I believe this food kept him happy and healthy for quite some time. Healthy and wholesome ingredients - I would recommend.
