I purchased the soil moisture meter from this company as a Christmas gift for our 17-year-old daughter, who has a deep love for plants. To say that she loved the gift would be an understatement. She was genuinely surprised and excited because she didn't even know that such a device existed. Although she has only just started using the moisture meter, it has already made a positive impression. I have owned this device for one year. I have not experienced any significant issues The battery was replaced once and it was an easy task. The readings are accurate in all four metrics. I'd recommend calibration periodically. The report data is useful as the seasons change to ensure optimal growth. There is now 365 days of data for tracking and trending. A suggestion includes periodically opening the app from your phone to sync the data. I found once per week keeps the download from crashing. I deducted one star for difficulty with the device sync to the phone app on initial setup and after a battery change. Also, the phone app can trigger on some virus programs as a suspicious download. I quarantine and monitor the app through the virus software and haven't experienced any concerns. Great little device! Everyone thinks I have a green thumb, and I owe it to this little plant sensor.

Items received in shipping box wrapped in bubble warping. That is all that was in the shipping box, no instructions either, nor shipping information... nothing other than the product. First day I was able to load 2 of 2 with the desired plant information. Firmware update locked the app up and had to reboot my entire phone to get out of the app. Finally was able to get the app to work as it was intended.. by the end of the day it wanted to update the firmware again even though it had the right firmware. Day 2 i did not have time to mess with it. Day 3 lost synch with both devices. could not connect at all with the devices as the app could not find them. after messing with the devices i was able to get one to be recognize by the app and is working. other device can not be recognize, its as if the device is broke. app again wants to update when it does not need updated. It makes me wonder if this device does more then it should as it wants access to my entire phone. I have questions about its real intentions. I am going to be looking at other products as total replacement of the app and devices. Too many issues and to many un answered questions.

If you have Home Assistant and BLE working, this product is awesome. The iPhone app is not bad but it would be nice to allow for historical graphs. The graphing capability for home assistant includes luminance, microsiemens per centimeter, moisture, and temperature.

I’ve had this device for less than two months and the light sensor has stopped reporting. I really like the information gained from this device. Wish it would have lasted longer.

I've only had these a few days but I love them. I'm hopeful for the sensor to work long term because they are great. Maybe too early to tell but so far so good.

It's great when it connects. But I get a "Connection failed" about 80% if the time. I wished it worked.
