I picked this up to set up an operating system for my Raspberry Pi, and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver. Plug it in, drop in your SD card, and boom — it just works. No weird drivers, no “device not recognized” nonsense, just smooth, fast transfers like it’s supposed to do. I’ve used a few cheap card readers before that felt like they were held together with hope and electrical tape, but this one actually feels solid. Had it for a couple weeks now, it works fine and has been a helpful tool for me I will be buying another if I need too or for a gift to another photographer it fits well too , its portable and light weight , and will not over heat.

Very simple to use card reader which is essential for your camera and other devices using an SD etc type memory card when you have a modern slimline laptop without a built-in reader. I think it is much better to have a reader like this, connected by a lead than one that plugs straight into the USB port as it doesn't transfer the force of an accidental knock etc directly to the computer and preserves the accessibility of a second USB. Very simple 'plug and use', no instructions required. Lots of these on the market, this one has good versatility and a realistic price. It has been in frequent use for over a month without any problems encountered with data/photo transfers. Highly recommended.

This little gadget seems to work well, no matter what I've thrown at it. It's USB 3.0, so it works much faster than the older 2.0 versions. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for an affordable way of being able to work with literally any kind of memory card, including the older ones like MemoryStick Pro for older digital cameras.

Alles bestens, Blitzlieferung inklusive und funktioniert! Mein alter, im PC vorhandener SD-Adapter kann trotz WIN11 und "grünem Gerätemanager" nicht neuen SDHC-Standards. Mit diesem Teil (über USB3.x) aber nun kein Problem. Micro-SD-Karten können hiermit gleich ohne Adapter eingesteckt werden. Unter WIN11 war keine Treiberinstallation oder sonstiges nötig. Man muss nur die vorhandene Formatierung der micro-SD-Karte von FAT32 auf FAT ändern und durchführen. Gut, dass man für diesen Adapter nicht noch irgendein zusätzliches Kabel benötigt! Der hat USB-A für 3.0 und geht bestimmt auch bei USB 2.xx! Zudem sind auch noch weitere Ports für andere Karten vorhanden! Die "10 Mäuse" dafür sind das Teil auf jeden Fall Wert!
