This has completely healed a horrific skin rash and severe dryness I had been grappling with a few months ago! What set off my problems- a bad reaction to a certain tea tree oil shampoo (Trader Joe’s Tea Tree) which led to severe itch, dryness and weeping from my scalp and eventually irritating the skin on the back of my neck and behind my ears. Aveeno was more effective than Benadryl cream which I was using in desperation but offered no true healing. I would advise as well to try to pinpoint specifically what sets off any irritation- you’d be surprised at how many “natural” items marketed for skin issues can cause other ones in certain individuals. In my case tea tree as an ingredient in body wash and shampoo was setting off severe dryness and eventual irritation. I have since switched my products to gentle ones. I love the texture of this product and the immediate absorption- my skin drinks it in! I knew it was promising upon first use because it felt both cooling and gentle. The area less red. I was over the moon with joy when the morning after I applied it to my red bumpy problem areas- my skin was actually calm and clear! Smooth and normal! I use this about twice a day to maintain results and have needed less for maintenance. Another thing I did since my issue was skin on the back of my neck was after applying, placing a layer of gauze on top to cover the area during sleep. You would be surprised what that gentle layer can do to seal in the product. I have also been using a gentle shampoo from CeraVe to not set off my skin again. Sometimes it’s a lot of different things which can cause irritation. This has been a crucial remedy for me which has offered enormous relief and healing. I also want to say how much I empathize with those going through skin issues- they can be truly exhausting and discouraging. Gold. Everything about this I love. I have the night time balm and it’s amazing but it’s soooooo thick. This is amazing because I can use it all throughout the day and not feel sticky. It immediately soaks right in. I have some eczema patches on my hands and wrists that this got rid of immediately. It has little to no smell which is also nice, it’s not greasy even a little, and it scans well on Yuka as far as ingredients go. It’s a product I feel I can’t live without now that I have it.

Our daughter has had eczema since she was a newborn, and we love Aveeno products. For us, this one falls a little short - it does help with flare-ups, but the consistency is too thin, and I don't feel like it nourishes the skin enough for her dry skin. The scent is neutral, which is a plus. Overall, this product is a good value for the money since you only need a little, making it last a long time.

I like this product because it's not heavy or oily feeling. It definitely does what it says. I feel that I need to reapply more than other creams...but because it's effective, I don't mind. I use this as maintenance along with another lotion. It's not what I reach for when the excema is at it's worst. It definitely helps the itch!

This review is long overdue. I purchased this when my baby was about 4-5 months old and developed such a bad eczema flare up. Before his official diagnosis for eczema I wasn't sure what moisturizer would help his red and itchy skin. My sister mentioned that she used aveeno eczema therapy, so I bought this gel along with the thicker cream that comes in a tub. After a few days, my son's skin went from angry red splotches all over his body, to soothed skin resembling his natural skin tone again. I was so relieved. The gel cream lasted us several months. We applied daily after his bath and it kept his skin moisturized. It's a little slippery since it's a gel like consistency but it absorbs well and left his skin feeling nice. This was a lifesaver for us, and still is. I will use the gel cream ever so often when he has flare ups, and especially now during the winter time when his skin gets dry from being outside. I highly recommend to all eczema sufferers!

omg this product is absolutely a game changer, I can’t list the ointments or creams that I used probably all of them in the market but this is amazing!!! It moisturized my itchy skin, hydrated it, and felt so light that my skin absorbed it as soon as I applied it. Not greasy, not sticky, not shiny, no odor.

Me gustó mucho este producto creo que lo volveré a comprar. Tiene una consistencia ligera por lo que rinde bastante. Lo uso después de asolearme y me baja mucho el ardor

I would say it's kinda good, like it numb the pain after i scratch the flare up, but it doesnt sooth the flare up instantly or stop the itchiness. Useful but not that much, numbs the aftermath pain. It works like 70% kinda useful.
