Nice quality, works great

These brushes came in this afternoon. I had just started this painting so I used my new brushes. I used with heavy body acrylic and the paint was so smooth coming off the brush. (I am looking forward to trying a soft body paint.) The paint ended up with a velvety look once it dried. I have used a lot of brushes over the years and some very expensive. I rank these brushes among the best and just ordered another set to have on hand. They also have detailed instructions on how to take care of them. One important note they mention is to not leave them in water. I don't even let mine sit in water as I paint and find it improves brush longevity.

The length and overall balance of the brushes are very nice. My complaint is that two of the ferrels needed to be squished. When unboxed, two of the brushes wiggled against the wooden handle. Not a big deal and the price point is reasonable. I'm sure that there are other brands and products which have a high consistency of non-wiggleness, although I suspect the price point would reflect such.

I bought these brushes as a budget option and they have become my favorite set. The hair is sturdy at first and softens nicely with time. They have taken quite a bit of abuse but have faired better than other synthetic brushes I have used with fewer hairs loosening and over all shape consistency. I would recommend these brushes to any beginners over even the more expensive brushes. The brush handles are long and tightly fitting. Too long for travel but perfect length for studio work.

This item was exactly what I needed for my sons gf and I. We have been painting door hangers and it worked perfectly. I got two of the mats for roughly the same price one was going for by other sellers. Item arrived quickly and well packaged. The paintbrushes are nice that comes with the mats! This product is for all age groups from children to seniors. Excellent product!

Holds a ton of water. Ferules loose upon opening package, just clamped them down better, they work great.

I never write reviews, but thought I should warn people about these brushes. Within the first hour of painting, five hairs were lost from two brushes. I’m returning them for a refund. If I could give these zero stars, I would.

I actually bought these to paint buttercream on a cake. They worked great. Only downside is the hairs came out a few times and I had to take them off the cake. But I understood since I am using buttercream which is a thicker material than what it is originally used for.

I have been looking for a good Mongoose replacement set of brushes as they are no longer available. I immediately used the three smallest brushes on a painting I am currently working on and they do a great job. Hold paint well, and keep shape with oils for a variety of marks. The handles are superb. There was one or two hairs that she'd, but nothing major. They clean and reshape easily. Impressed enough to order 3 more sets!
