Otis Soft Vise Jaws – General Use

I used this for a Remington 700 308 barrel so take off a muzzle device that was rocksetted on. These grips hold the barrel tight and allow you to get the torque needed to work on the barrel. Recommended. After reading reviews of lesser priced soft vise jaws and went with these even though they are a little more expensive. However, in my opinion, these are worth the cost and work well.

The magnets are a bit weak but the Jaws work great, the slots hold hold the piece you are working on firmly in place.

Pretty soft couldn't get enough clamping force.

There are a lot vise pads/ jaws on Amazon that are significantly less. They seem to have negative reviews. I decided to order quality and pay a little more. Glad I did. If you have guns you want protect, this is the product. It looks like these pads will last a lifetime. The magnets do a good job holding the pads in place.

Extremely useful so far. Been able to securely hold my AK and several handguns without any sort of marring or damage. Much better than improvised vise blocks.
