Has paid for itself on first use. I Love it!
I had to replace our bathroom vanity and bought this Klein Laser Level after watching a YouTube video demoing laser levels for carpentry uses. I put it on a small tripod that came with a Konus spotting scope I have. I turn the device on 3 Axis and: low and behold, I can * immediately * tell the leveling / alignment of the new Ikea vanity I was roughing in. For the heck of it I compared against the readouts from 2 yellow conventional levels I own and it's right on.PLUS: The beams are very bright. Indoors it produces bold unmistakeably clear lines. I'm impressed considering it's price being at the still affordable / DIY user level (which is me). (Some of those Bosch laser levels range from around $300 - $800, that is Pro stuff it would be silly for me to buy.) I used this for an Ikea vanity install in a very brightly (fluorescent) lit bathroom. The lines are unambiguously visible, bold and clear. I also took this device outside on a beastly hot, bright, 98 degree August day and yeah, it's a lot harder to see the lines in blasting outdoor light but, for the price, I can't complain. It feels very solid, well built, not cheap. I will never be a carpentry "pro" but , for my purposes, this device will help me out on my various self-starter home fixit projects. Runs on 2 AA alkaline batteries which come shipped with the unit.I can recommend this for DIY users. It's perfectly fine for it's price point. If you do a LOT of outdoor construction, a suggestion: You could order this unit from Amazon and test it on a sunny day and see if it will function (produce visible lines) outdoors at a visibility level you are comfortable with. If you don't like it, send it back, eh? YMMV.I'm going to use this Klein laser level device this weekend when I build a new plastic shed from a kit. I plan to build a level non-permanent foundation first.P.S. Comes with a super durable, moulded black plastic hinged carrying / storage case with 2 large snap-clasps on it. Very heavy duty protection.

Electricians Favorite Laser
Suprisingly better performance than the other big contractor grade name brands, also much more affordable. Field techs loved the first green laser we ordered, as well as the second red laser. Works perfectly for lighting layouts especially over kitchen islands, and cathedral ceilings. The cross feature also works great to line up lights, or showing level lines where desired

Great buy
Laser came with its own well built case. Batteries were included so these units should be fairly new and not sitting in a warehouse for years. For those that don’t know, the laser is self leveling so when unlocked and off it at appear that the laser gimbal is broken because it floats around. That is normal. When operating the float is it maintaining the beam level. Laser was used to hang 2 mirror frames. Everything worked flawlessly. Good buy at an expensive but reasonable price compared to others. I’mUsing mine for residential purposes.

Works fine as advertised
So far working great. Needed a second laser for building my own home! Would have given 5 stars if it had a fine tune knob for adjusting vertical line on horizontal plane. But for over half the price of my Milwaukee level It is perfect!! Choice of green or red laser would have been nice also. But is working fine! Would recommend to purchase!

great tool best value for options included
Klein Tools 93LCLS Laser Level. It's been a game-changer for me as an electrician. The cross lines, both horizontal and vertical, make it super easy for precise measurements. Plus, the single dot option was a lifesaver for light fixture layout. Highly recommend it!

Vertical & Horizontal With Point Laser!
I like everything about it in general. Great product for the price considering that you get a vertical and horizontal line laser plus the point laser.Magnets don't feel as strong as others but they work fine.I shot a straight line down the deck of my job for about 100' and laser line was slightly visible understandably from the daylight coming.
