Casali Choco Bananas (24 pcs / 300 g)

I was really looking forward to these nostalgic treats and had been eagerly waiting all week for them to arrive. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The box arrived damaged and partially open at one corner, exposing the product. The banana candies inside were hard and stale, and despite wanting to enjoy them, I could barely take a bite. They even had a strange, soapy taste. While these typically have a long shelf life, the box I received expires in just a few days. The sad pictures say it all! Very disappointed.

What can I say…I just love these things. It’s impossible to eat just one.

Very disappointed. I have these every time I go to Austria and they are soft and full of flavor. Really most of the banana flavor was gone, they had been on a shelf for so long they were dry, tough almost kinda hard. Like they’ve been in the U.S. as long as I have (40+ years). I’ll have my sister ship some from Austria next time.

This is one of my favorite candies of all time. My husband picked some up in a German deli one day and I was hooked! Now I order them from vendors here on Amazon because the deli can't keep them in stock and I have to have a constant supply of these things! They are really a nice light candy and only 50 calories per piece (24 to a large box, 12 to a small box). I would highly recommend this candy to those who like bananas and chocolate...you won't be disappointed. Its not overly sweet either which is nice, probably because they use natural banana as the primary flavoring.

These are addictive! I am a sucker for any fake banana flavored candy, and this is the best! I've gotten my brother and mom hooked too.
