​I recently picked up the XTool IP616 and have been thoroughly impressed by the depth of features and the speed of the interface. This tool punches way above its weight class. ​ The live data functionality is where this scanner really shines. The ability to display up to 6 charts on the screen simultaneously is a game-changer. Being able to watch O2 sensors and Fuel Trims for both banks at the exact same time makes diagnosing complex issues much easier. The data refresh rate is very fast, allowing for detailed charting that catches even the smallest signal dropouts. ​ I love that the device records data logs directly as CSV files. This makes it incredibly easy to manage the files or export them if needed. This thing is a must for someone who wants more the just a scanner/code reader. Has many useful features on it. Pretty much does most things a garage would charge you to do. This thing will pay for itself in no time. This is not for someone who doesn't have knowledge on vehicles tho. You can reprogram things on accident if you're not careful. You are able to rewrite vin numbers in the ecu so be very careful. It is always updating features so you definitely need to have it hooked to wifi. Worth every penny!!! I like the key programming features and the reports that you can send to a printer just like professional mechanics can do. It will give you the security codes for having keys made and remotes progammed as well like a professional locksmith and dealers have access to. It also takes to the internet to show videos on how to repair things that it diagnosed. Tells you the actual mileage on a vehicle thru the vehicles computer so you know if someone tells ya the motor was replaced like people do on many internet sites all the time but they don't have the paper work to prove it! I could go on and on about this thing and all the features but i think y'all get the picture. If you're looking for more than just a plain little code reader to clear codes this is definitely it and at a darn good price! Just buy it you'll be glad ya did! Like I said it will pay for itself in no time.

Toyota dealers will charge roughly $500 including tax to program a key fob and cut a key for a Toyota Prius. This tool saved me over $500 to program two key fobs of two of my Toyota Prius. Easy to program and worked flawlessly. I am sure you can program other vehicles too. It listed many brands. It can diagnose most of the trouble of your car and shows the very descriptive instructions of the symptoms. It is very useful for DIY. Very powerful tool Everything seemed working fine so far Plus it has a lifetime update. Highly recommended this tool.

Works for most of my cars but won't read my jeep ecm. I don't know why but works great on my chevy.

This unit is amazing! It can do most things a dealership’s scanner can do ! It read some codes that I didn’t know was active on my truck … Which prevented further issues ( no Check engine light was on) i’m not gonna say this very easy to use!!! It Takes some time to figure it out , but once you get the hang of it, you will be glad you purchased it. ( if I can do it any one can thanks to google lol ) I have contacted customer service and they was amazing about getting back with me. Remember they are halfway across the world, so it might take them a day to get back to you but they will !

I had the tool for literally 2 days it worked fine I put it up and went back later to use it again and it stopped connecting I tried it on 3 cars I have and same issue with all them not a bad scanner personally may be a used 1 they sold to me that someone else returned I'm upset and this pushed my project back and now I have to wait for another 1 or reorder

I’m happy with the the tool itself, and I’m going to keep it. This review is about the seller. I received the tool that was obviously a return. The tool was in perfect condition, but it was already activated, and the tool was all in spanish. Finally figured out how to switch it english, but this seller obvioulsy did not inspect this tool before shipping it off to me as a new tool, and the instructions were missing. But the tool did what they said it would do, and everything I needed it to do.
