Why no bottom plug?
Well made and looks good but thought it would have a plug at the bottom so you could remove the coins but it does not, a bit to expensive for a one use then smash open pot.

Why I returned this item was it’s too big and not suitable for my requirements.

This is such a perfect piggy bank. It’s a classic-looking piggy bank which has become harder and harder to find. The coin opening is perfectly sized and the painted piggy face looks normal, and correct and is as pictured. Such a pleasant addition to our house and will bring joy for many years. The only downside is that it has to be broken to get the money out. It’ll be a bittersweet day when that happens, but maybe that's how old-fashioned piggy banks used to be? Don't hesitate in getting this-it’s perfect for both boys and girls looking for a fun way to save change or cash. I'd recommend and will be buying more for baby shower gifts.

I have repurchased this twice now and I absolutely love how big and cute it is. I would love to see a “reusable” version of this, where there is an opening at the bottom. I understand the whole point of it having to be broken to get the money back, but it made me sad when I had to break it the first time. And I dread knowing I have to break my current one in the future.

Love this pink piggy bank, it’s HUGE, and I love that you CANT take the money out. Great way to save. It’s ceramic-and love the color too. It arrived UNBROKEN-no chips or cracks. I am VERY happy, this would make a great Christmas gift.

When it comes to a robust pig as a piggy bank this is the best thing since sliced bread put the money in and the only way to get out is to break it. My five-year-old loves it. (No he never broke it yet)
