This is the best alarm clock ive ever purchased! When i say, Its able to wake me up i can almost guarantee it gonna wake anyone else up that purchases one also! Its well worth the money! Before purchasing this i have always had the hardest time waking up with an alarm clock! I used to have to set several different alarms with several different sounds in hopes that one of them would wake me up but most times i wouldn't. I would sleep right through all of them because none of them were ever loud enough! THIS ONE HAS BEEN A GAME CHANGER FOR ME! I was surprised with how loud this one is and all the different options it has to choose from! All of which work amazingly well! It's actually able to wake me up the very first time it goes off each morning. What makes this one stand out even more is its not only loud but you can you choose different sounds along with being able to change the tone of each one of the sounds and also change the volume level of each one!

This is so simple and loud. So easy to work, easy to read and set the alarm. I am training my 7 year old to get out of bed on his own. He likes the silly noise-like the mom that yells at you to wake up or a rooster. I really like having a clock with a REAL old fashioned cord to plug in. I would suggest this if you need a learner alarm clock or if you need something annoyingly loud to get up. My kid loves the black and red look too

This Sharp Big Band Super Loud Alarm Clock - is the real deal. It isn't a normal loud, it is EXTREMELY LOUD! Which is exactly what I wanted and needed! It has different wake up sounds and has I think 1-15 different loud settings, 15 being the loudest. If your anything like myself (I would call myself a very, very, HARD sleeper, anything above "10" will work for me) but I still have it all the way up just so I know ill wake up regardless! It's a blessing and a curse to be able to sleep like I do, but the curse is that normal alarm clocks just don't do it! I even looked into those alarm clocks with a shaker for your pillow.. I can tell you with how loud this is, you don't need anything else but this alarm clock! To give you a little example of how deep of a sleeper I am, when my fiancé and myself were in the hospital after our third child, the fire alarm for the brand new hospital we were in, went off and everyone on our floor ran out of their room thinking if was for real, and this was around 3AM in the winter, there was snow on the ground outside - I was still sleeping on the bed completely unfazed from this gigantic alarm going off through the hospital. Yes I was a bit sleep deprived as well but still, even if I wasn't, I would not have woken up.. So after saying that type of story, and for me to say this works for me should tell you how loud this alarm clock is!! I will say if your sharing a house with roommates, small kids, or a family - you may want to let them hear it so they at least don't awaken frightfully when it goes off lol regardless where this alarm is located in your house, it WILL wake up people throughout the house if you have to have it on the loudest setting. My fiancé can literally wake up to her phone vibrating in the morning. She is a very light sleeper so if she was around in the morning to hear this alarm clock go off it would probably blow her eardrums out (lol being a little dramatic but it is extremely loud when your right next to it) but really this is so loud it will wake some up everyone in the house. In all seriousness this alarm clock does its job for HEAVY SLEEPERS and is a fantastic!! I have loved it since the first morning Ive used it. It has not let me down yet and I HIGHLY recommend this alarm clock to the people that sleep similarly to myself. 5 out of 5 stars for this product! Love it!!

Update 10 months after purchase. Had to order another one because the numbers are no longer lighting up properly. See picture. Time is 11:58 but hard to tell, especially when half asleep. And the picture makes it seem more clear than it is. We are trying to teach our 15 year old grandson to get up on his own. He sleeps so hard that when he wakes up it is like he is coming out of general anesthesia, I am not kidding. This is super loud and does a great job waking him up. The reason I can’t give 5 stars is because it turns off after a few minutes- that defeats the purpose. He knows that all he has to do is lay there for awhile and can fall back to sleep. Fortunately he uses the second alarm, but still - it should not turn off until he turns it off.

If waking up has ever been a problem in your life, this is the solution. This alarm clock is EXTREMELY loud. Very easy to use, you can adjust the brightness, I feel like its priced fairly. You are able to install batteries as a back up to keep the time. I have tried other alarms and none of them get as loud as this, it genuinely works. I now own 3, 1 for myself and my children

I am a very heavy sleeper, have been using this for a month. Power went out for a couple hours and the clock face and alarms aren’t visible but when power goes back on the time was very accurate when using the battery backup.The noise level is very loud and actually wakes me up. The clock face is dimmable so you can still see it during the day and not blind you at night. Light weight and durable.

This is a very loud Alarm that works GREAT!! We love the sounds it makes. I bought 2 of them because we liked the 1st one so well and needed one for my other kid.

I got this for my heavy-sleeping teenager, thinking the volume (which is significant) would wake him. It certainly doesn't wake him up inside of 5 minutes, by which time it shuts itself off. The only purpose it serves successfully is to remind me to wake the boy.

As a person with hearing problems this clock is perfect. Nice and loud, easy to operate plus the blue lit clock can be toned down so it doesn't glare in the room while sleeping. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a loud alarm clock, as I am a heavy sleeper. The alarm clock on my phone wasn't cutting it anymore. I looked at many different alarm clocks, and nothing quite stuck out like this one. I thought I would give it a try and for the price point figured it would be a decent product. Instructions were clear and easy to read and set up. The multiple alarms is nice for those days I don't want to wake up at the same time. The variety of alarm sounds are loud, my personal favorite is the rooster. It wakes me up and gets me out of bed. Thoroughly impressed with this alarm clock.

Pra quem tem muita dificuldade mesmo em acordar, vale a pena, é bem alto, e até agora faz 1 mês que comprei e tá durando bem. Diria que vale o preço.

It worked daily, until 3 months, then the rooster would no longer crow, or make noise. So not a great alarm clock anymore. Plugged back in the 12 year old slow dying clock which still wakes me up.
