Really like this sunscreen! It works for me as a face primer too, is lightweight and feels great on face.

After a lot (lot, lot, lottttt) of time spent searching through reviews and articles, I finally took the plunge and ordered a bottle of this sunscreen. I've recently developed hyperpigmentation (due to heat/light/allergy inflammation+hormonal changes) and need to wear daily, indoor light protection. However, I have never, ever had any luck with sunscreens, physical formulations least of all; they irritate my skin, cause rashy breakouts, and usually itch like crazy. But not this one! I'm so pleased with it that I'm actually writing this review. I've been using it AM daily for almost 2 weeks (face, neck, upper chest, shoulders) and have not had a single rash or bout of itchiness; no redness irritation either! It goes on like a lightweight lotion, rubs in easily without pulling, and does not leave a white ghost mask (note, I do have a fair complexion, but other sunscreens in my past have left me looking positively bloodless and encased while this one leaves my skin looking/feeling like human skin). Only two tiny cons, it would be nice if the SPF was higher for wearing outdoors, and, I am a wee bit skeptical of cost point vs. amount of product. However, it has performed exactly as advertised, and another reviewer mentioned her bottle lasted 4 months, so, I think the cost may turn out to be well worth it in the long run. Overall, very happy so far!

I was using Vichy and decided to up my facial SPF game to a luxury, medical grade sunscreen. This Essential Defense Mineral Shield SPF 35 Sunscreen is FANTASTIC. This formula isn't "milky" like the Vichy I was using, but I like this one so much more. The SkinMedica feels HYDRATING. It absorbed into my face quickly--the time it took to apply, then brush my teeth, then apply liquid foundation. I've had no issues with it reacting to my makeup at all. And my skin feels great. Another SkinMedica win!

As a woman in my mid-30s with sensitive, acne-prone skin, finding the right sunscreen has been a challenge. I’ve tried everything—Korean sunscreens, drugstore brands, and all the hyped-up medical-grade SPFs recommended by TikTok influencers. But SkinMedica Mineral SPF 35 Non-Tinted is truly a hidden gem. This mineral sunscreen somehow manages to leave no white cast, which is amazing! It’s not greasy, has no smell, and feels like you’re not even wearing sunscreen. I actually prefer the non-tinted version over the tinted one. It’s become my ride-or-die sunscreen, and I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about it. If you have sensitive, acne-prone skin and are struggling to find the perfect sunscreen, definitely give this one a try. It’s been a game-changer for me!

I have super sensitive acne prone skin and sensitive to smell! This is the only sunscreen I can find that I can use! It has no smell at all! It is light weight and not oily or greasy at all. Can be used under makeup easily. It is very affective too.

Not a bad sunscreen. A little greasy though, not the best to wear under makeup.

This is my second bottle. I love that this is super easy to apply and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin from eczema. My friend whose skin is usually no tolerant to other sunscreen finds this one not irritating either. Gives me the adequate regular coverage too. It gives a white cast initially but eventually fade away after just a few minutes. I use it to replace foundation sometimes just because it makes my face less dull. Easy to wash off too. Doesn’t feel greasy or anything. Highly recommend.

I have struggled to find a daily mineral sunscreen that is comfortable to wear and blends well. Most of them make my face feel dry and leave some type of a cast. This sunscreen is so different. Smooths on comfortably, does not dry out skin, and if you purchase the tinted version (I have both the normal and tinted), it blends in perfectly. Love this sunscreen. I will actually finish this and re-order which I have never done before with any producct!

Very comfortable on the skin! However, I wish it has higher SPF.

The expiry date will be Sept-2020, the shipment was quick. I had bought Skinmedica mineral SPF 32 Tinted last month, and now this one Mineral SPF 35 untinted for my sister. Both are very light weight, I don’t have problem to wear them. My skin type is mature, sensitive, and dry with combination at T-zone.

I have extremely sensitive skin and this didn’t make me rash!
