I’ve used these at several catering events and they work great. Definitely need to freeze for 12 hours or more before use!

I found that it wasn’t staying as cold as I would like so I put about 2 inches of water at the bottom then froze it and that works for keeping my dips cold for about 4/5 hours. Lid handle is a bit annoying to hold. Wish it was a loop or something.

We bought a couple of these for ice cream storage in our food booth. We figured we would keep one in the freezer and switch them out every 6 hours or so. The picture of this product shows ice cream in the bucket! The power of advertisement at its finest. When you read the instructions it states it will keep it at 40 degrees or less. That maybe true and ice cream melts at that temp, I didn't read the fine print there. We would get MAYBE 1.5 hours and we were needing to rotate buckets. If you store it in the fridge with ice cream and scoop from there you are fine, but it will NOT last on the counter and keep ice cream froze.

I think the product is useful, but I don't understand why they designed it to be several inches lower than standard 3-gallon ice cream containers. As a result, the ice cream in several inches above the rim and therefore the topmost ice cream is not insulated and melts rather quickly. Even their own product picture on this listing shows the issue.
