Nice thick material. Fits my Rav4 backseat perfectly. Comes with a seat belt attachment for the pup that is of better quality than some of the other stand-alone ones. The "hammock" nature of this seat cover is a 100% better option for the safety of your pet. They feel cradled in the seat, and won't be thrown to the floor by sudden braking. Very satisfied with this purchase. Haven't had to test the waterproof-iness of it, but the material feels like it can handle it.

We have been using another brand of car seat cover for years. We have two of them, but we recently adopted a dog who gets car sick so we needed to have three covers (one for the initial ride that will probably be vomited on, one to replace the vomited on cover and then a back up). Dogs are fun! Our old covers have lasted us a long time and have been through hard times. They have been washed countless times and have seen mud, hair and many other unpleasant dog things over the years. Unfortunately the company no longer exists. I decided on iBuddy because a lot of the other brands say they are washable in the description, but they are actually only spot washable. I'm not sure what dog owner buys something that is only spot washable, but my best guess is, they are either a new first time dog owner, the owner of a very small inside dog or a dog who never gets dirty. The iBuddy has two sizes and the truck size is the same size as our other car seat covers. I am really glad I ordered the truck size. In fact, I would encourage everyone to just order the larger size. We drive a medium size SUV and the truck size fits exactly right with no overhang at all. The smaller size would be way too small. This is a very standard car seat cover. It is well designed and easy to put in the car with clips in all the right places. It is a little padded, which my husband commented did make shaking it out after the ride a little more complicated because of the extra bulk - not a deal breaker - and the sides come up to cover the side windows if you have a reactive dog. Our senior dog likes to watch traffic so we folded the sides under. This cover also comes with a seatbelt, but I'm not sure if it is crash test rated, so we just continued to use our own. It is a nice addition for those people who aren't using one at all. I did notice that dog hair and debris did not stick to the fabric at the end of the ride when my husband shook the cover out. I will update this review after I wash the cover the first time.

This is a great product. We have had it in our car for a couple of years and it still looks great if you remove the dog hair. It has done a great job of keeping the seats clear and protected. Fit our Honda HRV perfectly and have had no issues with any of the straps or zippers.

I wanted something to keep my 18 lb Chug from tearing up the upholstery on my 2014 Sante Fe. Her claws started tearing the area above the armrest as she'd stand on it to look out the windows. It installed easy and all the buckles seemed beefy. The stash pockets are well placed for toys and leashes. Now the negative. The seatbelt atachment leash is way to short and wont allow a dog to look out both sides of the back. I'm going to modify it to give my dog some more room. Next, the side panels are good in that they zipper up and the top strap that holds them up is long and quite a good range to it. These side flaps can quickly be unzipped and the flap covers the side of the back seat to protect it from the dog going in or out. However these flaps are not tall enough to protect the upper part of the door where the window comes up so it's back to square one with her claws destroying the upholstery. There are other sets on Amazon that do indeed come up high enough to protect this part of the door. The net portion between the front seats would be better if it had more structure and zippers to allow the dog to access the front seat. My dog hopped it and ended up underneath the cover where the back seat passengers feet would normally be. Really frustrating! So I've ordered door protectors that slide down inside the inside door glass channel and hang down to cover the door. I'm also going to modify the netted area with foam or cardboard to hinder her from jumping up front. Perhaps this is why the seatbelt leash is so short. Cant say anything about the water proof factor and it seems to be made of an easily cleanable material. There was no chemical order and like I said, the buckles do seem hearty, I cant imagine why so many reviews have negative comments about them. Lastly, it doesnt seem like I can recline the rear seats much as there isnt enough material to allow it especially when the sides are zipped up. And the cover is not tall enough to cover the top parts of the rear seats so if your dog wants to look out the back window its paws will get that part of the seat dirty

It does what it intended to do. The main body is made of great quality. The buckles are easy to break as two came broken; but seller was very responsive and gave me the choice of replacement unit or replacement buckles; I chose the latter as it is faster and I don't mind to do some DIY. It was easy to clean with the proper vacuum head. I have nothing to complain about.
