100% worth the money- sizes run small, order up one size
Was on the fence about spending this kind of money, but I did it and I am not disappointed at all. This helmet is amazing. The quality of the helmet and the Bluetooth which is integrated into the helmet is crystal clear and works so great. The helmet does have the slide down tinted shield inside, but I purchased a tinted shield for those extra long days of riding. This helmet is 100%quality.I will be purchasing another one for a family member. Take not though that this does run small.so if you normally take say a large, you will need to order the next size up.and remember you have to break a helmet in.so if it’s “just pretty snug” it will break in and you do not want a helmet that is too big or loose.this only comes in black and white at the time I am writing this review, hopefully they’ll come out with more coo later.

Super happy with the purchase
I wanted to get a helmet that had a built in system. I just happen to come across a YouTube video that feature 2024 top 5 best smart motorcycle helmets. Now I watch not just one but 3 different videos on this subject. And all videos they feature ”Sena impulse” and a couple of other ones. But this one is the smallest shell size . That won’t look like a mushroom or bobble head. I saw a video on RevZilla where I got a good ideal how it will look on me. So with that out of the way let talk about fitment, I wear a medium and got a medium and it fits perfectly. It was a little snug but still feels really comfortable. It doesn’t feel like my face in a vice like some other brands I have tried. It’s also nice that it comes with a pin lock, so no need to purchase one. The vents work perfectly especially if sitting in traffic. I really like the drop down sun shade inside the helmet. Now as far as the sound… it’s is top notch, the music is amazing and come in clean and crisp. Phone calls are excellent as well . With the easy to use buttons on the side of the helmets , it make it perfect to operate while riding . Now there are a couple of cons, or gripes that I have . The first one is there’s no d ring , so I can’t use my handlebars helmet lock that uses the d ring to lock it to. Second they only make a black tint face shield no other colors. Thats it ….and they are definitely not no deal breakers. In all I am very happy with the helmet , for the price it met my expectations. Especially when the whole system is included plus fitment and the sound quality is amazing .

Headache - literally
Oh my Lord. If you have a Shoei, steer clear for sure! I will NEVER do this again. The helmet's padding at the crown gives me a MASSIVE headache. I tried to use this on a ride from Austin to Eagle Pass, and I had to have a ride partner stow the thing because I was about to throw up it hurt so bad. The foam pushed against the front of my head. Combined with wind pushing against the front made it insanely unbearable. The chin strap is more like a neck strap, oftentimes trying to choke me.The sound? great. The intercom? Great. Bit no point considering how horrible the rest is. You won't save money, but buy an actual GOOD helmet, and the electronics for it separately. I can only wear this for short, in-county rides. Even then, it's painful.I've had helmets and ridden since 2006. This and the Shoei are both sized appropriately for my head. I took a chance ordering online since I couldn't find one in a shop. Expensive lesson learned.

Excellent In Most Ways
i was disappointed in two things: 1. Only 2 blah colors available, white and matte black. I ordered the Matte Black but have always preferred gloss black 2. Size chart indicated I needed a size, "Large". Size Large was much too tight and chin bar would not fit past my chin and therefore could not lock. I was very bummed by the bad fit after closely following size chart instructions. Otherwise for the price the quality is very good and the built-in Sena Mesh Comm system would have been great. Had to return. Afraid now to waste time ordering a larger size, like XL, which, after calling Sena tech support, offers no hope of fitting any better chin wise. Will think about trying the XL but still would not be happy with the matte black. I may have to spend several more hundred more bucks for a Shoei Neotech 3 which has many color choices and made to fit the Sena SRL3 comm system. Don't let my experience make you decide against the Sena Impulse. It's a good helmet, just doesn't fit my noggin.
