Fantastic product, at a great price. TeckNet strike again!
Disclaimer - I was given a free mouse in order that I might try it and write a review. However, I already own two of their mouses which I purchased, and frankly wouldn't go anywhere else the next time I need more for work or home! So, this is a great product. It's extremely tactile and feels great in the hand. All of the buttons and the jog wheel have great levels of feedback so that you know that you're using them, but without creating noise. It's very accurate and works flawlessly. I particularly like the grippy area down the left hand side of the mouse, where your thumb sits. It makes the mouse really 'stick' to your hand (in a good way) and makes it really effortless to grab and use! I used this mouse to replace my horrible one at work that came with the computer, as I've already got TeckNet mouses for my two computers at home. I think people often ignore the difference it makes replacing the input parts of our computer (mouse & keyboard). As you often use them for many hours at a time, changing them for something much better, and at this price, should be something of a no brainer! I guess the only thing I would say about this mouse in any way negative, is that I wouldn't purchase a wired one. I prefer the feel of wireless, as you don't then get the friction of the wire on your desk. It sounds like a small thing, and I will keep using this one fro work probably, but once you use wireless mouses you're perhaps unlikely to return to wired ones! The TeckNet wireless mouse is the same price, so if like me you prefer wireless ones, then I would recommend that as an alternative. It's a great product, and the battery life really is as good as they say! TeckNet Pro 2.4G Wireless Mouse,Nano Receiver,6 Buttons,24 Month Battery Life,2400 DPI 3 Adjustment Levels

a good all round mouse, stands out for price and practicality
wanted a straightforward mouse for everyday general browsing etc and this one fits the bill exactly, well pleased with the fast scrolling ability, comfy mouse in hand, extremely pleased with length of cable enabling more laptop movement, all in all a good find at a good price indeed for me stands out from others on offer.

A Bargain wired mouse, better featured than other more expensive offerings
(Please note Teknet refunded my purchase in exchange for my review) I was very pleasantly surprised that my mouse arrived only four days after I ordered it as I thought it would come from China! It is Chinese made and very plainly packaged, however is well packed and comes complete with manual and guarantee - a two-year warranty document (not 18 months per Amazon), again a pleasant surprise as for the price I suspect most people would simply buy another if / when it goes. I'm running Windows 10 and just plugged it in ... no problem and it works exactly as described. I've used it for general web surfing as well as database input and spread-sheeting so it will be ideal for general home and office use. It's sensitive and all the buttons work as required. l was using a mouse mat and soon found it better to use the mouse direct on the surface of my desk - there are small pads on the bottom of the mouse that caught on the mat, so worked better without. The grip is comfortable to work with in my medium size hand and the wheel and feature buttons naturally fit where you need them. NOTE it is designed for right-handers! I read other comments about size - I think this is plenty big enough for laptop or desktop use. The 56 inch (142cm) cable was plenty long enough for my desktop pc but worth checking for suitability before purchase - I could not see this listed on Amazon. Overall this appears a very well designed and made product, and the appeal to the buyer must be in the features compared to other more expensive offerings. This is a bargain wired mouse and I'm enjoying using it. I am impressed to see that Teknet also do a wireless version for almost the same price if preferred.

Perfect mouse for a Windows OS
TeckNet Pro S2 arrived very quickly, on a good and small package, easy to open. Together with the mouse there is a warranty registration card and an instruction manual. To be honest I didn't read the instruction manual (which is always a good sign), as you just need to plug the mouse to your computer and it's ready to use. The mouse is smaller than I expected but fits satisfyingly in my hand, so also a plus here, as it's easier to carry without compromising comfort and usability. It his built for right hand users. In terms of aesthetics is one of the most beautiful mouses I tried, simple but with aggressive lines, black and grey. It has 6 buttons: - main left and right buttons - scroll wheel (with push to click functionality) - forward and backwards buttons (on the left side, perfect for browser navigation) - DPI resolution change button (close to the scroll wheel on the top) - that for a normal user may not be the most important thing, but in some cases is really useful. In terms of usability I can say it's really responsive and tracks well.I tried it on clean surfaces mostly (a white desk), but also on some fabrics (for those who may like to use it on the sofa for example) with satisfying results. For an everyday work usage it's perfect. I can't comment if it fits gaming purposes because I am not a gamer. In summary, that's a really well made mouse, both in therms of aesthetics and usability, especially having in mind its price. Surely I will continue to use it for a long time, would buy it again! Note: This review takes in consideration the usage of the mouse on a Windows OS (I tried Windows 8 and Windows 10). I also tried the mouse on a MacBook Pro and despite the fact of continuing to be a great mouse some functionalities doesn't work (as may be expected). The main buttons do their job perfectly, the scroll wheel works but with some limitations (doesn't handle properly small rotation) and the other buttons doesn't work. Nevertheless, it still does it job.

really solid mouse
for the price, its been great. it fits in my hand really comfortably but i do have fairly small hands, it might be difficult to use if you have bigger hands. the dpi switch is a cool feature but im gonna stick with the default since the higher settings are really fast lol. i like the rubber thumb pad area and the mouse overall doesnt feel as cheap as i thought it would. it also seems to work great for gaming. the red light does shine through the scroll wheel hole a bit which i guess isnt the most aesthetic thing ever but i dont mind it. the left and right clicks are almost silent which is pretty cool but the travel distance of the click is a bit short, itll take some getting used to for me since before this i had a loud clicky dell mouse. i still think this is a neat addition. overall id really recommend this mouse, its really good value.

Excellent value for money mouse.
The TeckNet Pro S2 arrived quickly and was packaged sufficiently as to make there was no damage to the mouse, or even the product box itself. I find that nowadays it is too often deemed 'acceptable' for a seller to package their products in thinly lined paper parcels and leaving it to the product box to protect the item. However, this was not the case with my purchase as the product box was lined in bubble wrap within the paper parcel. The box came in pristine condition; suitable to be given as a present. In the box you will find the mouse wrapped in extra bubble wrap with the cord wound and bound by a plastic clip. They include a simple instruction manual with all of the technical specifications of the mouse; in my experience though you will not need it as the getting started with the mouse is as simple as plugging it in to a USB port, no drivers are required and the mouse begins to function immediately. You will also find a registration card within the packaging which entitles you to a free 2 years warranty. They will even cover return shipping. The mouse is of a reasonable size (image attached to show its size compared the the MX master by Logitech; I would find it suitable for people with a normal hand size (right hand use only) however if you are endowed with larger than normal hands then you may want to look elsewhere unless you are happy with claw grip (680mm x 1150mm x 380mm, length x width x height at widest point). The cord is approximately 1.5m long. In the hand the mouse feels well constructed. The plastic is of a high quality and the mouse itself is sufficiently weighty to feel as though it won't fall apart in your hand. On the left hand side is a soft touch rubber pad which provides extra grip and makes the mouse more comfortable. Overall, I would describe the mouse as an ergonomic improvement on the generic mice packaged with desktops and found in workplaces/schools. The mouse has the typical left and right buttons; a central mouse wheel used for scrolling and as a 'centre' click; and finally a forward and backwards button placed above where the thumb sits. Also included is a DPI switcher which alternates between 1000 and 2000 DPI. The mouse tracks well and was very responsive at both DPI resolutions. Trialling it with gaming I found that it was suitable for League of Legends however note having attempted to use it for a more 'twitchy' game such as CS:GO or COD I cannot comment on its suitability for use in these games. I have used the mouse on two windows 10 computers and no software was required. Overall, for those looking for a well-built, ergonomic mouse, that just 'works', and does not hit the wallet then this is it.

A reasonable quality well featured mouse but rather on the small side fro me.
This mouse feels reasonably well made but unfortunately, like most of the non-gaming mouses currently available, it feels quite small to me (and I do not have large hands) and is rather light weight. In fact, for me it feels more like a travel mouse rather than a desktop mouse - but this is of course a subjective view.

Fits like a glove!
This mouse is probably the most comfortable I have used; and I have used many of them I can tell you! The hand naturally sits on the mouse with the thumb and little finger sitting comfortably in the moulded side recesses. The thumb recess has a non-slip finish that provides a positive control of the mouse. The result is the user not needing to grip the mouse but more guides it to the point of use. The index and middle fingers need no conscious positioning when the hand is placed on to the mouse. Again, they naturally sit over the functional buttons. A small move to the right by the index finger finds the scroll wheel, the action of which is smooth but still offering a ‘measured’ movement between detents. Pressing down on the scroll wheel activates the auto-scrolling feature, the speed of which is determined by the distance the pointer is vertically moved away from the on-screen image of the up/down arrows. Both the little finger and thumb sit comfortably in the moulded recesses on the sides of the mouse. The thumb recess has a non-slip finish that provides confidence and ultimate control of the mouse when navigating anywhere around the screen. Also within the thumb recess are two buttons that allow the user to navigate back to previous screens, particularly when using the internet browser. This saves clicking on the back and forward arrows at the top left of the screen. This feature is not a huge thing for me personally but I’m sure it would be considered a valuable feature to those who extensively navigate the internet. I must admit that the switch above the scroll wheel is not a showstopper for me as I failed to get it to do anything. Apparently it allows the user to change the DPI from 100 to 200. I’m not sure what this means! Forgive my ignorance. All-in-all this is a great product from ‘TECKNET’ and at the low price I paid, I’m extremely impressed with its design and functional value.
