I switched to Giffgaff as I liked the flexibility of not being tied to a contract, also I like the fact that you can earn money and refer friends and family. I ordered this sim from Amazon as I needed it ASAP, the switch has also gone through smoothly. By just answering questions about things on the community (I spend around 10 mins a day) you can earn the cost of your GoodyBag (mine is £5) you can earn this back by simply contributing to discussions. Great Giffgaff Sim. Pay a tennet and get a tenners worth free. No contract but you have to buy a bit every three months to keep it going. Great for the £15 bike or car tracker. I have 2 up and running and a 3rd ready for use.

What can I say? A sim is a sim. Although the network is quite good and generous. No contract, goody pack a that you can change every month. Community lead, the service is very good. Ideal for kids or if you want to keep right budget control. The sim itself is a multisim, 3 in 1, nano, micro and full size. Small package.

You need to apply credit by topping it up before using the phone number, if you use any other provider you don’t have to do this

I already have one of these, they are easy to set up and manage They use the 02 network so you get good coverage and the rates are really good If you want to be SIM only and want some top deals with good coverage then GiffGaff are a good provider

A good value SIM card if you are looking for a no contract deal for your mobile. I use ours in a 4G+ LTE router - as a home internet backup solution to unreliable BT Broadband. I can almost instantly bung on credit or a "bundle" and away we go. Giffgaff runs on the O2 network - which is the best for us as regards download speeds. Obviously, that is dependent on geography and you may find other providers offer better reception. Bought to fit into my Amatrac car tracker. These use only 2g and Giffgaff use O2 which still have 2g and will continue to until 2025. So far, so good! My tracker is costing about £1 per month to use! Sim was purchased as “Unlimited data, texts and calls” . This is NOT TRUE. First of all you need to activate the sim and then you are given an option page: goodybags (monthly packages ranging in price) OR, PAy as you go. Seeing how the sim was supposed to be “unlimited” I chose PAYG, obviously. I added £20 credit, to claim the £5 free as advertised. I believed this credit would last for at least a month, possibly longer, but the site’s explanation left a lot to be desired. I spent several hours trying to set up the mi-fi unit in which I was to use the sim, then many more hours trying to link my phone/iPad to it. Two days later.... no credit!! No connection. What a rip-off. Trades description issue for sure, as this is false advertising and misleading information. Now looking elsewhere for a better option.

I have two gps/GSM tracking devices that I use with giff gaff. I have taken them to Spain also. No problems and very reasonable costs for my tracking uses. The online check of credit and biling is easy. I have used other sims that have been nowhere near as cost effective. So I recommend them.
