I wish there were more books like this on the market!
There should be more books like these. Perfect little book to show your little ones. It does teach them about diversity as it shows that some families have 2 moms and they function just like any other family. It is great for children who have 2 moms and all other children as well. For a child with 2 moms it will help them portray themselves and identify their family environment as being conventional. The child in the book could be of either gender which is also really good as you can adapt to both scenarios. It is also great that the moms are not portrayed as the lesbian stereotype, which quite frankly, shouldn't exist. It is a book about a family, 2 moms and a little one who do every day family things. Very helpful, heart warming and brings you to the normality of an every day family environment.

Timeless
Truly lovely little story. One my kids ask to read over and over. Representation is everything.

Lovely book for little ones
A really simple board book which is great for littler ones. Our daughter picked it straight up and started pointing out Mummy, Mama and Baby. Immediately validates her family even though she’s too small to realise how important this may be. Brilliant book!

Great if you've got two Mums
Lovely book and beautifully illustrated but slightly better if your family is like that in the book ie with two mums. We have friends with this set up and I was hoping to use this book to help explain to my two year old how their family was different but still the same. As it is written in the first person it doesn't quite do this. With a bit of extra extra explanation might still be useful.

Love, love, love this book!
As one of the two moms in our family, I am always on the lookout for books with diverse family structures to share with our son. I ordered this one when it was recommended by Amazon and am so glad I did. It's a simple story about the adventures of a little family with two moms. It's not clear if the child is a boy or girl, which is nice. My son loves this book and brings it to us to read constantly - I think it's going to be a favourite!

Sweet little book
This book is very sweet and perfect for younger readers, since the language is very simple and there isn't a story, just images and ideas. I'm really happy that I've been able to find books that reflect our family dynamic in time for the birth of our son, particularly such durable hardback books that he'll be able to read again and again, and see our family in.

Good story for normalised learning about diverse family structures. Daily life story. Mummy does this, Mama does that.
