small size, but that suits me for what I purchased it for (storing propane bottle and heat torch). The usual Stanley quality in terms of material used, sturdy and sensible design/use of space. Single clasp (metal) is easy enough to operate. There is no gasket or anything, so I do not think it would be waterproof, but in general if serves it purpose and if you need a relatively small tool box then this is a great deal.

Stanley STST1-75515 Low Essential Tool Box, Black/Yellow, 12.5-Inch. I purchased this to replace the tatty old cardboard box I was using to throw just the few tools in that I needed for any odd jobs in and around the house or elsewhere. I carried out a lot of research and decided on this Tool Box and thus far, I'm fairly impressed!. All dimensions shown are approximate. Good Points..... 1. L 32cm x W 17cm x H 13cm so not very big/long/deep or high but just long and deep enough to fit in my 'essential' tools. 2. Rigid, Strong, Lightweight with an ergonomic and comfortable Carry Handle. 3. Hinged Lid with a Strong Metal Securing Clasp (but see below). 4. The handy interior Lift Out Top Tray is divided into two long narrow compartments and two smaller ones (one at either end of the Built in Lift Out Handle). 5. With the Top Tray installed, the Lower Compartment space is L 29cm x W 13cm x H 6cm, uncompartmentalized and as such seems more spacious. 6. The lid has two built in hinged and 'clip closed' compartments which are handy for small bits and bobs. Not So Good..... 1. I'd suggest double checking your required dimensions and maybe measuring the length of your tools, as overall this is rather small, barely big enough for me but I only needed a small box. 2. The compartments in the Top Tray are shallow but acceptable (see photos). 3. The hinged lid only opens to about 85 degrees and as such doesn't stop open on its own which I found too annoying to cope with (see below). I have modified the hinged lid slightly by shaving a little plastic off each of the hinge stops and my lid now stays opens at around 95 degrees. This has probably voided any warranty but given the price, who cares! All in all and for what it is, Highly Recommended with just one point off for the lid not stopping open on its own!

A good value tool box , lightweight with a removable tray inside, there's also two small compartments on the top of the tool box for small easy to reach items. The main compartments is ideal for small to medium tools , it's easy to carry has a good easy to open clasp that locks well and keeps the lid securely closed. I'm using it for small edc tools, so it's ideal for that , the plastic build quality feels sturdy and strong. For just over £10 that i paid , it's good value for a tool box of this quality.

Great little box but unfortunately its too small for all my paint brushes and art tools. Its great for small household tools though, and its easy to store away due to its size. Deffo worth the price

Me ha sorprendido lo buena que es esta caja de herramientas. El plástico se nota resistente y el cierre encaja bien, no parece que se vayan a romper fácilmente. La bandeja interior es muy útil para guardar las cosas pequeñas o las que usas más a menudo. El tamaño está muy bien: cabe lo necesario sin ocupar demasiado espacio. Yo la uso para tener las herramientas básicas en casa y va perfecta. Además, es ligera y el asa es cómoda para llevarla. En general, una compra muy recomendable si quieres algo sencillo pero de calidad.

Looks good. Quite sturdy and strong to hold. Spacious as it fits lots of tools.

Produit conforme à mes attentes

Using this as a replacement for a broken socket set case (I got some holders for the socket bits and they fit inside), and it's a perfect size for this and a few other items. The metal latch is solid and feels strong enough, materials feel very good overall. I'm happy and the price was appealing too. I would buy other Stanley tool boxes in future based off of this.
