The case is a bit bulky, but it needs to be in order to hold larger sunglasses. However, after about a year the hinge broke. Humorous fact is that my wife kept getting stopped at metal scanners because of the case. When I purchased it, I thought that it was hard plastic but it turned out to be metal which set off the scanners.
