I have had to purchase three different phone/tablet holders over the years due to the fact that they were all made specifically for one device and one device only. Firstly, a normal iPad one which like all Apple add-ons, was ridiculously expensive. I then bought a Samsung tablet which needed another different sized holder again. Neither of these two would hold a phone of any sort as they had a fixed size side which was made to the specific size of the tablet for which it was bought. The next one I bought was for the Apple iPad Pro. This one was slightly better (although very expensive), as it had two spring sides. But it could only take larger tablets as the smallest size it could take was actually quite wide due to the spacing of the springs. Then, at last, a truly universal holder that can take virtually any size of phone or tablet up to the iPad Pro's 12.9". The Elitehood is very well made with an interchangeable arm which can go directly on top of a microphone stand for use with public speakers, meeters and greeters etc. The other attachment which actually screws on to the holder via a clever slip ring assembly, has a clamp which can clamp on to a microphone stand or table or anything you want it to really. The actual holder part is easy to move to any angle required yet sturdy enough not to move once set. This will be the only tablet/phone holder you will ever need to buy as it will take a wide variety of different sized tablets and should last a lifetime due to it's sturdy design.

Any angle is covered by this holder. An absolute must when gigging. Great solid construction. It’s a gigging musician I wouldn’t be without it.

So happy to find something more suitable for everything. Honestly so happy with this product! Versatile and sturdy. Sets up the way I want it, clamps perfectly on a mic stand- haven't used it on the top of mic stand yet but looks easy enough and convenient to unscrew from the arm and place on top of mic stand. It's a little heavier than the stand I had before, but makes up for it by being solid. I can also unscrew it from the arm quickly and pack in my bag neatly instead of it being at all angles taking up too much space. The only downside I can see in the long run is that there is no way of gently moving the joint that adjust the angle of the stand by unscrewing and screwing back on again - Concerned that after prolonged use it may untighten over time and may become too loose to use. I may be wrong though, time will tell! I've bought two more - one for my partner and another for my phone which is a Samsung z fold 4. The reason I mention this is because almost no tablet/phone holders will hold my phone! Usually too big or too small but this product holds it tightly and I don't feel like it will drop to it's death! Thanks!

Perfect, very strong and flexible.

Holds the I Pad (Large Format)great but due to arm offset and weight of the IPAD plus cover made the Guitar stand topple when Guitar was removed. I shortened the arm by punching out hidden pins and sawing down shaft and making new shoulder on the shaft. I also reversed the stand clamp action to stop interference with the IPAD, now it had a shorter arm. Araldite, pinned, rubbed down and sprayed looks like it came straight out of the box. To be absolutely sure (Nerd Here) I put a lead weight in the opposing leg of the guitar stand not much, but now with the IPAD Large Format installed on the stand it has equal resistance to falling over either way. It would be nice to adjust this high quality unit more easily. The IPAD sits behind the Guitar off set and just pround of the upright as close to the Stand as you can get at the right height to read.
