Petkin Pet Blood Stop Swabs

Got mostly for accidents while trimming dog nails but has come in useful for other wounds stops bleeding fast do recommend

Great value for money and more hygeinic than styptic powder as these are individual swabs, they stop bleeding pretty quick hence why I will continue to purchase!

pros: i like that theres a lot of them (24) in a pack, good value for money small, can easily put in a pocket or pet first-aid bag & carry on the go they work well & stop bleeding fast easy to read instructions, if a bit small due to packaging size easy to follow instructions, the styptic formula flows quickly & is ready to swab instantly after bending the coloured line to snap the tube

My dog has a lump that looks like a blood blister on her ear & rubbing her head causes it to bleed these are excellent does'nt sting or hurt her but works, cannot fault so easy to use.

Perfect to have in your pets first aid kit. Ideal to stop those little nicks that bleed. I would recommend 100%

Bought these for our greyhound as due to their thin coats pick up nicks and cuts really easily, works really well, easy to use, and great little first aid item to have around the house or int he car

It's a brilliant idea and they are easy enough to use but don't really work on claws. I have a lot of black claws to cut and occasionally cut a quick. I used three and they didn't stop the bleeding, ended up using trimmex (messy). I've used similar for shaving cuts (straight razor) and they worked great. Maybe claws just don't clot like skin....?

Took my lurchers away for first time camping, my too have a very fine thin one coat only of hair like a grey hound or whippet, so accidents happen. These are excellent. Maybe expensive, maybe not a big pack. But wellworth it, definitely a staple in their van first aid kit. Even worked on me. Will definitely keep using them.
