STANLEY 3-in-1 Modular Rolling Workshop, 1-79-206

After reading other reviews about this product, I was a bit sceptical to say the least, however I was pleasantly surprised. this unit arrived yesterday and is very sturdy, it is made from tough plastic, the draws have a small clip under which opens the drawers, and then prevents then from flying open, there are two small drawers with compartments and a slightly deeper one which is ideal for screwdrivers etc. the big pull down compartment at the bottom is great size I actually have my bosh drill & drill bits in there. the top box does not contain a tray but is deep, it can hold things like hammers etc, I also have my ratchet set in there too. and there is still loads of room for more stuff. there are two pockets at the rear which are ideal for tall spirit levels or maybe even pieces of wood?, the wheels are strong and feel great to pull around, the extending handle makes it ideal for moving around easy. I had another one like this ages ago that was no where near as good quality, Stanley is a name you can trust and rely on. forgot to mention only the top box can be lock with a padlock!. Yes I would recommend this product.

I had my eye on this toolbox for some time, and was almost put off by some of the reviews stating that the product was somewhat 'flimsy'. Well, in my opinion, this is a strong toolbox that is great for home use. I specify 'home use' as I don't think this would be strong enough to survive in a commercial setting for long, but there are far more expensive toolboxes out there designed specifically for that purpose. It is far from 'flimsy'! It has a nice big box at the top, with plenty of space for a lot of tools. A slide-out, sectioned drawer in the bottom of this can be used for the storage of smaller tools or components. There is then a section with another small, sectioned drawer, and a deeper drawer. Finally, at the bottom is another large, swing out box capable of fitting plenty inside of it. The workshop can be split into 3 parts, making it easy to only grab the section you need for the current job. One small note that has been mentioned in other reviews, is that it would be nice if this product had a tray insert for the top box. All-in-all I'm really happy that I went ahead and bought this product, and I wholeheartedly believe that it is more than sufficient for any home DIY'er.

Good piece of kit, (bought to store publicity items for our local voluntary unit). Would have been 5stars if there hadn't been a bit of damage to the edge - nothing that a bit of black masking tape couldn't sort and we weren't over worried about.

Holds a great ammount of tools and so easy to pull around, very good quality and very well put together. Great price to..Perfect for DIY or the professional. Really handy for all trades. The top box is the only part with a locking loop, it has no way to lock the lower draws, What I have done is drilled a hole in line with the top box locking loop down inline through the lower draw handles and into the bottom edge. I then used a 10mm rod bar bent over at the top L shape, that threads through the holes and into the bottom edge hole, marked the rod just below the last handle, drilled a small hole through the rod and then put a small padlock through the bar and lock it down..It sounds complicated but it's really quiet simple, the picture should explain how I have done this.

Arrived on time. I was a bit wary ordering this because of a lot of complaints about the drawers being faulty. Mine arrived and the drawers were faulty. After checking it out, I decided to oersever and asked Amazon for a replacement. Amazon were great and sent the second one immediately and refunded the cost of sending back the first one. I am so glad I stuck with this unit. I fitted all my power tools in it and more. The big bottom drawer takes my circular saw and planer with all the bits and pieces. The next drawer above it takes my multi tool and all the batteries and chargers for all the power tools and a few other odds. The two smaller drawers have hammers and lots of bits and pieces for my diy. The movable sections makes these drawers flexible to change what I want to pack. The top section has no tray which for me is great. I have packed my jigsaw, hammer drill, two power drivers and the box of jigsaw blades and another box set with all the drill bits and screw driver heads. At the back on either side of the telescopic handle my clamps and set square and long metal ruler are stored. The only weak spot could possibly be the wheels, but I handle all my stuff with care so hopefully they will hold up. Otherwise the storage unit is sturdy and good quality for the price.

It is very nice and there is a lot of space, I ordered 2 to be installed in my van so I can divide Metric from Imperial tools, however I am still waiting for the second one so right now I put all the stuff in one box and there is so much space that I was able to put inside also sprays, gas tools (blow torch, soldering irons and heat gun), files, brushes and so on, and I didn't fill it completely yet. If you plan is to store big tools or power tools this is not the box for you, I suppose the bottom box will fit a cordless drill, a drill and maybe a grinder (all without accessories) but nothing else. The accessories can be stored in the top box and maybe there will be some extra space. The two small drawers can hold screws or terminals, maybe brushes or small tools, but nothing big. I tried to store some wrenches, but the vertical space is too tight (i didn't measure but it is something like 50mm), while the bigger drawer can hold all the wrenches you like, since the depth is about 150mm. I don't know the toal weight I stored in this box, but right now I suppose it's about 30kg. There are also two slots on the back side where to store spirit level, saw, rulers, squares and so on. About the trolley function, I didn't test it since the scope of my purchase is to keep the boxes in the van and remove them just in case I need to give the van to someone else.

Should of paid more for dewalt but seen as its home use it’s ok ,would of been better with more draws

Meine Bewertung bezieht sich nicht auf die Nutzung des Produktes als klassischen wkz Wagen sondern als Lösung für die Thematik autopflege und alles was dazu gehört. Ich fasse in Stichpunkten zusammen: - Optik und Haptik 1a - Kompakte Größe (dachte erst, der Wagen sei größer aber er ist genau richtig, nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein) - Schubladen sind hochwertig (es wackelt nichts) - Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Elemente lässt für mich keine Wünsche offen - große, stabile Rollen - geniale Fächer auf der Rückseite inkl. Bänder zur Befestigung (also nicht nur perfekt für lange Sachen wie wasserwaagen sondern alles in dieser Richtung. Ich habe dort ein metallprofil analog einer scangrip bonnet in Verbindung mit einer scangrip nova Mini und das Profil befestigte ich an den kopfstützen im Auto und klemme mir die nova Mini mittels deren Magneten an dem Profil fest - durch die einzelnen Elemente ist man absolut flexibel und kann sich für jeden Zweck alles individuell zusammenstellen - mit meiner autopflegebestückung lässt sich der Wagen noch bequem tragen, was bei einer normalen wkz-Bestückung sicher schwieriger werden wird - der obige werkzeugkoffer kann mittels schloß verriegelt werden - die Griffe, um die einzelnen Elemente zu verbinden sind klasse im handling und nicht schwergängig Fazit: Für autopflege-Sachen bzw deren Transport gibt es glaube ich keine genialere Lösung. Ich habe das Produkt heute erhalten und bin jetzt schon total begeistert. Wenn man Handwerker ist, sollte man sich im Vorfeld überlegen, was man damit vorhat. Wenn man viele Elektrowerkzeuge etc mitnehmen will, wird man unabhängig vom schnell steigenden Gewicht sicher schnell an die Grenzen des Systems kommen. Aber das sind luxusprobleme. Das System ist einfach nur extrem gut. Ich bin auf die ersten Einsätze gespannt aber auch jetzt schon überzeugt, dass das System mein Arbeiten sehr erleichtern wird.

Jag har letat ett tag efter verktygsförvaring inne i huset. Hjul, gott om plats, flera lådor, plats för skruvdragare osv. Glad amatörsnickare men alla verktyg är i garaget och jag har ingen lust att alltid springa ut till garaget för minsta lilla. Valet blev alltså denna vagn. Klart högre kvalitet än de stora kedjornas motsvarande vagnar, visserligen något högre pris. Vagnen fungerar för en vanlig DIY men inte för yrkesbruk, enligt min bedömning. Gott om plats, utdragslådor, med en svinglåda längst ner. Otroligt smidigt att kunna dela lådorna i tre delar. Nackdel att handtaget inte kan vara i utdraget läge om den övre lådans lock ska kunna öppnas helt. Verktygslådan har ingen insats för småsaker, så det är enbart en enda stor volym. Det går säkert att lösa med någon egen lösning om det visar sig behövas. En del i stadigheten ligger i ganska tjocka väggar med förstärkningar som dock påverkar innermåtten en del. En höjdardetalj är två fack på utsidan för långa verktyg som sågar och vattenpass. Otroligt smart! Klart prisvärd!

J'ai acheté cette servante sur Amazon Warehouse, le département des articles déclassés d'Amazon. J'achète de nombreux produits à un prix très avantageux de cette manière et je n'avais jamais été déçu jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Contrairement à beaucoup de commentaires, la servante est arrivée parfaitement emballée dans un carton et intacte mais hélas incomplète. En effet, il manquait tout l'étage supérieur qui constitue la boite à outils. J'ai donc été contraint de refuser le colis pour un retour direct chez Amazon. Il est important de bien vérifier ses colis lors de la livraison car si j'avais accepté mon carton comme cela, il m'aurait été certainement très difficile de prouver qu'il manquait une partie de ma commande. Ce sont des choses qui peuvent arriver et je reste tout de même très satisfait par le service Amazon Warehouse qui, jusqu'à présent, m'a fait faire de belles affaires. C'est dommage car la servante n'avait pas l'air mal du tout lorsque je l'ai déballée et sa qualité m'a paru largement suffisante pour les bricolages courants à la maison. Les plastiques paraissaient d'une solidité suffisante, ses grandes roues étaient un gage de bonne maniabilité et la portabilité paraissait correcte hormis pour un usage professionnel.

Está fenomenal. Es de plástico pero consistente. El cierre va bien. Y es de un tamaño ideal si no tienes mucho espacio. Entran muchas herramientas.
