A different coffee experience
Nicely made and effective filter for making coffee using the percolation method, i.e. hot water is poured on the coffee in the filter and passes through into the cup. A good idea for single cup drinking and if you buy Vietnamese coffee you can recreate the way they drink it with condensed milk placed in the cup before adding the coffee. May sound weird or distasteful to espresso lovers but try it - it's really different and very tasty. The vendors send you an email with illustrated instructions on making both hot and iced coffee before the filter even arrived, and there is another copy with the delivery. Excellent service. I query the amount of coffee (2-3 tablespoons) suggested in the instructions as too much for a single cup, but you can experiment with different amounts to suit your taste. Be aware that it does take some time for the liquid to drip through, at least 2-3 mins.

Great little product
This is a great little device for great coffee. I use it at work as a way to slow down and appreciate coffee. Also perfect for camping trips. Very easy to use and clean. I would go for the large one next time as useful for two people.

Great Product, better than the real thing
I was recently in Vietnam and bought one of these over there. When I got home, desperate to try it, I was hugely disappointed with it - it just didn't work, coffee would go through the holes, it would drain to fast and bad coffee was always produced. However, still wanting that Vietnamese coffee shop expirence at home I decided to purchase this product as a Birthday present for myself (being honest, with a bit of doubt). When it arrived I used it straight away and the product is great. It works better than I could ever have expected. I am 100% satisfied with the product (I think I must snapchat me using it everyday) If you are thinking "should I buy it or leave it" - buy it. Or if you have stumbled on this - buy it I can't recommend it enough, it was a great present to myself. Thank you!

Makes good coffee.
Bought on a whim after watching a YouTube video. Cheap and cheerful but makes actually quite decent coffee, but6be prepared to experiment a bit with dose and grind to suit your taste. This one (smallest) was decently finished with no sharp metal edges. Watch the dimensions though - this one is small.

Easy to use
I was originally looking for a single cup cafetiere when I spotted this and decided to give it a go. I am so pleased that I did. It makes delicious coffee, is really easy to use and clean, is environmentally friendly (no paper filters needed) and is portable. What's not to love? I bought a medium size and use 3 slightly heaped teaspoons of coffee to make a small standard sized cup which is exactly what I wanted. If you want a mug of coffee, you'll need a bigger size. I shall be ordering more - one for myself to take to work and some as quirky Christmas presents for friends who are hard to find something quirky for :)

The genuine article.
This arrived very quickly, well packaged and full set of instructions. As I already knew how to use the item the instructions served as a good reminder of the fine details of how to get the best out of this equipment. Having the correct coffee is not essential but certainly worth while, as the predominantly Robusta based coffee has a different character that makes this style of coffee what it is. Good follow up and support from the seller, so if you are new to this style of coffee there are no worries about learning how to make the best from this equipment.

I couldn't use this to make a decent cup of coffee, but maybe that's just me.
It appears to be a robust relatively well made device and it wasn't hard to clean: they're the positive things that I could find about it. I tried, honestly I did: I filled it with my usual coffee, I popped the thing over my usual mug and realised that, because the protuding lugs are at the top of the unit the thing was suspended deep into my mug. I then tried to use the separate drip tray thing to raise the unit on my mug, the thing now leaked over the top of the mug. So, plan B: get a bigger mug and dispense with the drip tray - it worked except for the fact that it took so long for the coffee to drain through it was stone cold by the time I got to drink it. I'd charity shop it except that I'd feel uneasy about foisting it on someone else. Oh well. Update: I have unexpectedly been offered a full refund, I really thought that my experince was "just one of those things" we all buy something that just doen't work for us. So, based on exemplary after sales customer care I think I should really upgrade my overall rating from 2 to 3. 6 out of 5 for customer service though.
