LUXURY GOOSE FEATHER AND DOWN DUVET QUILT 13.5 TOG DOUBLE

When I first opened this duvet I was very disappointed, it was felt like plastic and was very flat. However, after shaking it, it’s been great and unlike some reviewers I’ve had no problems with loose feathers. Just as good as my much more expensive one I had to throw out after my cats got fleas this summer. I didn’t need to throw it away, but just to be sure as they sleep on my bed, I did and purchased this, as I was very annoyed I had to change everything and spend a small fortune on new rugs and bedding. For the price I wasn’t expecting much, but it’s very good, only slightly less full than my much more branded, expensive one. 1. Comfortable 2. No feather loss so far (had over 6 weeks) 3. Suitable for Summer and Winter 4. Excellent price for good quality 5. Just as good as my much more expensive one

Strong,smooth cover,adequate feather protection....a little overfilled and 'bouncy'...nevertheless comfortable and attractive.

I hate to give a bad review, but I am so disappointed with this “luxury” product, so please don’t be fooled by the description blurb like I was! I wanted a replacement for the feather duvet I have had for years and this seemed to fit the bill. In hindsight the price should have made me a bit more weary, because this is without doubt the most uncomfortable feather and down duvet I have ever purchased. You can shoot peas through the outer material so as a result the feathers poke out and stick in ALL NIGHT like little regular injections and I have TWO duvet covers on it which makes not a jot of difference! The packaging it came in looked it had just come off of a 1970’s street market, which had been kicked around a bit for good measure. I had started a return but when I realised that it will cost me almost as much as I paid for it - no free returns from this friends - then I bit the bullet and kept it. So don’t make the same mistake! Amazon need to monitor their sellers more thoroughly because this is just a rip off!

They are as they say on the tin! Very decent feather duvet. It keeps you very warm, absolute bargain price. One and only issue. Feathers seep out of the seams and eventually through your duvet covers. Your bedroom, pyjamas and bed sheet end up looking like a ducking crime scene! Due to the price point and general quality, I can live with it, but I've had my moments and i bet a lot of people also would.

I have had feather quilts before and love the snuggle wrap round u can't get from other quilts even when they promise will stay bouncy. Have always paid more for them and after reading reviews of some people having problems with feathers others not thought try it as price is v. Good . I love this as not as heavy as others I have had but also I actually have felt too hot but will be great for the cold . But so far no feathers escaping did leave it out of packaging just sitting for half a day before shaking so had time to settle more itself . So value for money def YES. Comfort and warm YES Will it last it's a wait and see but at present very happy

Nice and warm but a real pain as the tiny down feathers work the out of the cover, so every morning I have to pick up about teaspoon full most days, so I'm wondering how long it will last!!! I'm now going to buy a duvet protector and hopefully this will solve the problem

I really didn’t know what quality to expect given the very competitive price tag. I read some reviews before I purchased ! It arrived in time I opened the parcel and held my breath hoping for a surprise ! That’s exactly what I got a nicely presented quilt in a bag I had previously shopped about usual places Argos Dunelm home sense etc and dept stores debating what tog and quality to buy! I was told that the feather quilts rustle when you turn over but nope and opted for a warm 13.5 tog duck feather & down against a man made fibre that bunches and clogs up into balls. That’s why I needed a replacement and to my surprise it arrived in perfect condition I immediately paced in on my bed that day and slept like a dog sooo warm sooo comfortable and I can’t believe the quality for the price I paid less than 1/2 price of dept stores. Very pleased with my purchase

Everything is as I wanted
