Men's Black Leather Combat Patrol Work Boots

I recommend them whole heartily. My son already has a pair I bought for him. When I saw them I decided to buy a pair. As an ex soldier I know the importance of good boots and these fit the bill. They shipped the day of purchase and arrived by Royal Mail next day. I am a very standard size ten. They are a very snug fit, if you are thinking of wearing very thick socks in these cold days it maybe an idea to think about going up a size.

I have been wearing these boots daily and all day for almost a month whilst working and walking the dog in all terrains and weathers. They are the best boots I have ever bought for comfort, look, and water proofing. They remind me of the NI boots in the 70s, which were highly praised at the time. Very happy with these boots.

Stellar boots ! I use them for motorbiking too ! Great fit no rubbing quality pair, will be buying again when these eventually wear out (not they are showing any signs) great in the snow, and keep feet dry in the UK rain !

Lets be honest, these are cheap boots in comparison to other more well known brands and as such, there is only so much you can expect from them. There is absolutely no toe-protection and it has become apparent that there is no protection in the sole either. The glue across the toe leather to the left sole has failed already as has the heal support on the right boot (hence I can see that there is no sole protection.) The outer skin of the leather upper just between the laces and the toe have started to crack and split. Because I wear these boots on an almost daily basis, I normally get about 6 months of life out of a pair of boots which I found from the more expensive boots. These have deteriorated after about 4 months and they may well last the next couple of months so I am still better off than if I had purchased a more common tactical boot. You may find that depending on your use and how active you are, these boots may last you longer.

When this arrived I was really happy, the weather was wet and my old boots had started to leak. Wonderful I would have dry feet again. And I would look smart as they appeared to be great quality. They were a bit large for a 10... Actually they were a lot large. But rather than send them back for a smaller size I just did them up tight and persevered. That evening, I noticed a mark on my leg. the rough lining at the top f the boot had essentially scraped away a layer of skin. It wasn't that bad so I didn't do anything. The next day armed with thicker socks I tried again and they were comfortable. I work i an office, so I rarely do more than 10-14 thousand steps a day (measured by my handy fitibit) so nowhere near the use of someone in the military, or security services would get. And therefore I expected the boots would last me a good long time. Within a fortnight the leather uppers were beginning to crack at flex points... Within a 6 weeks the they were letting in water... And within 3 months the sole had worn through completely. I cannot describe how disappointed I am. I feel entirely ripped off! The quality looks good initially. But they just don't last as you can see from the pictures I have posted the sole is woefully thin and just wore out. And that's from relatively light use. Please please please don't waste your hard earned money like I did. Spend a bit extra or you will be buying them again a few weeks later.
