Faithfull FAISDSCB134C Chisel Bit Angled 250 x 40 mm SDS-Plus for Use on Bricks, Concrete, Marble and Hard Stone

I'm quite a fan of Faithfull tools, I've used many of their consumables such as jigsaw blades and they've always proved to be good solid tools and excellent value. This chisel, is no exception. I bought it to remove tiles from a kitchen wall, its performed very well. The blade has quite a sharp edge to it, which is unusual for a cheap chisel, but very welcome. The blade fits nicely under tiling and removes them effortlessly.it's so much easier with an angled chisel versus a straight one. It also coped admirably with the tiling grout as well. I managed to remove practically all of it without having to re-grind the edge at all. Quality wise, the steel seems good. I used it in an 18v drill without any issues. Using it in a mains powered, heavy duty drill on full power may over stress it? I don't know, but at this price they are practically disposable after each job. Bear in mind, this is a chisel, only for use in an SDS chucked drill with a roto stop feature. Overall, like many Faithfull tools, this has proved to be a very good buy and excellent value for money. Wanted something for my sds drill to help me remove a bug old 1970's style fire surround. It was built using random sized stones and cemented between the joints. There was also a one foot lip of stones stuck to the concrete floor as well. I found this attachment brilliant and made the whole task easy for me especially scraping off the stones that were stuck to the concrete floor. I think having a flat end that is slightly angled allow a much shallow angle to remove the stones on the floor. For the vertical stones the angle did not make much difference but the width made stone removal quicker. The bit seems like it suffered no wear after the whole job was completed. I like this product very much and I am happy with the results it helped me to achieve.

Good value angled chisel. Found it useful to remove stubborn wall tiles - just be careful not to damage too much the cement render underneath.

This is the only chisel to buy! Don't buy from the usual DIY shops they don't even compare! After literally 1 year or smashing things up with this sds chisel on a new sds drill at the time (2.2J) The sds drill has now broken and the chisel is still OK. I purchased a new sds drill and so a new chisel for it. Pictures or new vs old. I can't even tell you how hard I have used this! Literally chased out hundreds of chases, cleaned up hundreds of concrete facing bricks, endless use for a year! The new one is noticeable longer and sharper but compare to the chisels I used to buy from good diy stores don't even compare. Literally tont buy any other chisel. This is the one!

Used this bit for awhile now on render,concrete,and its an exellent all rounder and has kept a good edge on it for all the work its done,very pleased with this reasonably priced bit,will definitely buy old faithful drill bits again.

Bought this to remove tiles from the wall, once you "get the hang of it" it works very well. Remember to let the tool do the work, and ensure that it is fitted securely into the chuck.

I have found this chisel attachment to be of good quality and reliable. I have used it to remove all the tiles off the walls and floor of two of my bathrooms with no problems and minimal wear and tear. When I first got the chisel the angle seemed to be very small, however when using it the angle was perfectly fine. The point end of the chisel is in the middle (like an arrowhead) and not on the bottom (like a wood chisel), this worked well to remove tiles.

Chisel arrived well packaged and in a reasonably timely manner. Product exactly as described. Building an extension at the moment so bought this chisel to remove plaster from existing walls. I was using it with a small hammer drill as the condition of the walls were very bad and I did not want to make them worse. The chisel was easy to use, had a nice angled head so it did not dig in and appears to be made from reasonably hard steel as I did not mark it in any way. Also the narrow 40mm head made it more suitable for small hammer drill I was using. Chisel did all I asked of it with no issues so I would recommend it to others with no hesitation.

de Beitel is zeer slecht geslepen. Beter gezegd: hij is gegoten en nooit geslepen. Het breekvlak zit niet aan de achterzijde van de beitel en hij is ook niet recht, waadoor hakken niet optimaal gaat. Geen aanrader.
