Absolutely fantastic for mealy bugs
I had a huge mealybug infestation on my large orchid collection and tried many organic ways of removing them and finally gave in and got this. It got to the point where my whole orchid collection was going to die unless I took drastic action so I decided to take the plunge and go for something hardcore like this spray, after so many failed attempts at using sprays and methods which would protect my plants. I am glad as it worked soooo well. The product doesn't have an overwhelming smell like other bug sprays but is definitely strong. It took multiple heavy treatments to treat the infestation but now, a few months later, I can confidently say they are gone. There is a large amount of spray leaving me with over half the bottle left even though I used it for 3 heavy applications on around 20 orchids. As mentioned earlier, my orchids were in a bad state so I used probably more than is recommended by the manufacturer. I found that my orchids flower buds all died and they struggled to produce any more for a couple of months, despite flowering the majority of the year. So I feel the spray is definitely damaging to plants, and I would never use it on anything intended to be eaten due to it being a contact insecticide. I plan to still spray my orchids with this every few months to prevent future bugs, as my orchids seem to be fine after going dormant and now are blooming with flowers again. I would really recommend this product as a last resort, but only as a last resort, as it contains some pretty harsh chemicals and causes my orchids to lose flowers. However, in situations where the plant is likely to die from infestation, this is the ideal product.

Treatment for Pieris Lacebug
I had three Pieris which all became heavily infected with lacebugs. I tried some more environmentally friendly treatments first, including neem oil but they failed to work. One Pieris was so badly infected it shed all its leaves and died and so I resorted to buying Bug Clear and this worked, saving the two remaining Pieris. Used once on each plant and within a week there was no sign of any lacebugs. Gave them both another spray a week later just to be on the safe side and both plants seem to be doing well and have produced new growth which is so far unblemished by any lacebug attack.

Good spray
Going to get the negative out of the way first...it should have been packed in a box! There was plenty of bubble wrap but it was still squashed at some point in delivery and I received a leaking bottle and have lost a fair bit so I'm not impressed! As for the spray itself, I always use this spray in the garden. It works best when you use it at first sign of attacks as it just won't do much if you have a bad case. It's not killed any of my plants/fruit/veg so far so it does the job.

Worked wonders for my plants and the critters having a ball at my expense
Great product. I only needed to use it twice before all the creepy crawlies running around on and around my plants were gone. Much better than the last bug spray I bought. I went through the whole bottle and it did Jack to the bugs. This one worked great for me and I’d definitely recommend it.

Kills bugs
I have aphid infested roses, foxgloves, veg. This spray kills them quickly and seems to keep them off for a little while. The bugs start dropping off as soon as I spray them and all are dead by next day. I do find they come back after a week or two - probably after more eggs have been laid. I tend to ignore the time between dosages and just use it when needed. Either I risk killing the plant with spray or the bugs will. Not had any issues. Just be careful with using it on vegetables and follow the instructions provided on the back.

Not very effective
OK, but nor very effective. Did don kill even all the greenflies very well, which normally are easier to get rid off.

This is why you see lots of contradictory reviews
What you'll see sometimes is that the bugs a spray is supposed to kill are not that much affected by it. Then you see a lot of 1 star reviews from people who say it's a useless product, next to 5 star reviews from people who say it's excellent. What's happening here is some pests are resistant to certain insecticides. If you buy two or more insecticides with different active ingredients, then you'll probably find that if one doesn't work the other will get the buggers. So went my experience with this. It killed an infestation of several different types of bug that another product wasn't working on. It's not because the other product is crap or this is especially brilliant, it's because this has a different active ingredient that was needed on this occasion.

It works!
Only thing I found that killed a bad whitefly infestation on my rose. Tried other products and home remedies ....nothing worked except this bug spray. (Only four stars as it has a rather unpleasant smell !)
