I was looking for a battery-operated wall-mounted clock to replace an old one which stopped working. I spent quite a bit of time here on Amazon (as I always do) and came across this one. I read several reviews which claimed that the clock had “Good time for share” printed on its face but, as Amazon's product page picture showed nothing of the sort, and feeling that this clock was just what I wanted, I took a chance and ordered one. I thought that, if the one I received had that silly saying printed on its face, I could always return it. In the event, the clock I received had no "statement" printed on its face; it looks exactly like the one in Amazon's picture. There is one thing which "may" be problematic: the instructions say that I should use a carbon-zinc rather than an alkaline one. I do not own any carbon-zinc batteries; I own only Amazon Basics Alkaline Batteries with which I have always been satisfied. So that is what I inserted into the clock. Frankly, I have never seen any such recommendation before and I can't imagine what an alkaline battery would do to a clock that a carbon-zinc battery wouldn't also do. Therefore I am ignoring that recommendation. The clock has been running for about thirty hours so far and all seems fine. (If something goes wrong, I'll update this review.) The second-hand moves smoothly and the clock is completely silent. It is also apparently keeping good time. So far, I am completely pleased with this clock. It is stylish and looks nice in my room, it is easy to read, and it appears to be very well-made (and the frame is wood). Therefore I will VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this clock to you, especially at Amazon's current price of just $36.77. i think that's an excellent price for a clock of this quality. This is a replacement for my 50 year old bedroom clock that died an honorable death. It was a tough choice trying to replace it, but I am sure we chose wisely. This clock is beautiful, silent, easy to setup, visible, and very durable. The color is perfect! It functions well. We are sure it will last us another 50 years. Very Light weight.

This is a handsome wood clock (as opposed to plastic like many clocks have) with numbers that look more “antiquish.” I purchased this to replace a clock above my husband’s roll-top desk. It looks perfect there and has kept time well, except for stopping recently. I reinserted the batteries and it’s working well again. It’s a nice clock for the price paid, and I need the second hand now and then to time exercise, etc. It is silent, which is a nice feature, especially in a bedroom. I would have given it a 5, but it has the words in small print on the face “good time for share,” possibly written by someone who doesn’t have a good command of the English language. Since the words are small, it’s really not a big deal, but I’d rather not have any words there. My husband didn’t notice and likes it, so that’s what matters. Over all, a good-looking and well-working clock. I’ll edit this review if I notice it starts having issues with keeping time.

This is a beautiful eleven-inch diameter, turn of the century looking wall clock. It runs silently and has a second hand. The wood surround and glass front make it appear much more expensive than I paid on Amazon. No more squinting up close at the microwave's or stove's tiny digital screens. And I usually don't have an extra hand to check my phone for the time while loading the DW or prepping dinner. Well done.

I like my new clock. It seems of better quality of other inexpensive clocks, is affordable and very attractive.

The clock is beautiful and very quiet. Really helpful was the admonition from the maker to use carbon zinc batteries. Very important.

I bought it in December 2025. It stopped working in January. I changed a battery and it started working for a month then stopped working again. I took it down the wall, it started working. Then in one more week, it stopped working again. There is serious contact issue and poor quality.
