Sprague Orange Drop Capacitor 0.047uf for Strat Tele Gibson Etc.

This is the 3rd time I've bought this item from the same seller and I'm very happy with the product. The cap makes quite a difference in tone compared to the stock caps on my 2 Harley Benton guitars. For not much money it's a very cheap and easy upgrade to a budget guitar. I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference but there is supposedly a ground leg and a hot leg. There's a few Youtube videos out there that show you how to tell the orientation just using your amp and lead, your jack socket and a pair of crocodile leads.

Orange Drop capacitors are great, and this is a slightly higher value than the standard ones that come with Fender guitars, resulting in a more defined treble cut, which I personally really like. Highly recommended.

I swapped out the .022mf capacitor on my strat for a .047mf and it makes a hell of a difference to the tone: there's greater clarity even when i roll off the tone completely, which wasn't the case previously as the sound turned to mush with the tone rolled off. If you've got a MIM strat and you're not happy with the sound and contemplating costly pickups, try this first. It has made a big improvement the sound of my strat.
