Roman Blind Cord 100mt Optimal 1.2mm Diameter String for Austrian Festoon Cording

This cord was purchased when I was making 5 Roman blinds for my sitting room. I read that the finer the cord the better it operates the blind. Who knew! This cord makes my blinds operate like silk; it’s such great quality and I’ve no doubt will last years. Pricing is excellent for the amount supplied too; lots left for my next project. Arrived promptly and can only highly recommend both the supplier and the product. Excellent all round.

Good quality and reasonable price too

It seems almost too thin for the job, but in fact it’s more than strong enough. I was replacing a thicker cord that was twisted strands, but they kept fraying. This cord, although thinner, was not just stronger but ran much more smoothly through the eyes of the blind due to its smooth, woven exterior. The smaller size of the thread made assembly much easier, so restringing a four cord blind was a very simple job. I haven’t bothered to check how much there really is on the reel - who does? But I still seem to have most of it left! So the bad news for the supplier is that this is probably the only reel I’ll ever need.

Much better quality than the last cord that I bought in the local fabric shop. This flows nice and smoothly and Ive rethreaded three blinds so they all work like new now. Good value, the 100m roll means I have a useful amount spare, although I suspect it will have found another use by the time I need to rethread again

The blind cord arrived within the specified time and as ordered on the printed cardboard reel as shown in the order photograph. I ordered it to replace one broken cord on an Austrian blind. I was uncertain from the sizing given if I had ordered the correct size and it's difficult to tell from the photograh. Now it has arrived it looks the same as the existing cord in type and width. I haven't had time to take down the blind and replace the cord yet but I'm sure I'll find it an easy task and I'm hoping the replacement cord will last equally as long as the previous cord.
