VonShef Deep Fat Fryer 1.5L

Extremely impressed with the performance of this fried. I did find that two litre capacity actually means capacity with food in it - it takes around 11/4 litres of oil to the max mark, which makes it quite economical in the oil department, but the description doesn't make that very clear so a little common sense comes into play!!! It is well made and good quality although the basket is perhaps a little flimsy. It reaches required temperature quickly and cooked the food well. It is very easy to clean and since it's of a square compact design doesn't take up much space on either work surface or in a cupboard if you're short of working space to leave it out. I've always used a larger fried but since I'm now cooking for two downsized. It cooks just as well as my larger professional fried. It cleans easily, although I was a bit sceptical that would be the case as I have always had a removable oil basin. However as it's small and lightweight it presented no problem. Would recommend to anyone, but be sensible and don't try to over fill it !!!

Love this, use it just for chip, small but can cook decent amount for 2;and so easy to store.

This was a quick replacement for a 'quest' fryer that didn't work from minute one. A bit smaller and cheaper but it works great and heats up quickly. Great for chips but maybe a bit on the small side for fish.

This Vonshef deep fryer fries very well, but it is too small! The Fryer is of good quality and functionable. 😊👍

Loved the size of the fryer. It works fine. The lid is dreadful and you do need to be very careful when using it. It’s a shame it doesn’t have a timer but I think all the small size ones are the same

Good value - does what it says on the tin.

having to send it back. Set it to heat to190c it only recached 110c so no good for frying

Excellent fryer, bought it for my parents and they are very pleased with it. Great size just for two.
