I got this book as a Christmas present for a train enthusiast and it did not disappoint. The best feature of this book is its plentiful and clear photos. It could make a great coffee table book as it would hold the attention of someone who doesn’t know much about trains because of the captivating photos but also has great information for the train enthusiast who wants to learn more about each train. I purchased because it was a Smithsonian book and I am glad that it exceeded my expectations.

This book is absolutely exceptional in terms of its historic content. Quality of the paper is very heavy, excellent quality finish to the pages and the print. It's heavy binding is very resilient, nothing bad to say. Absolutely wonderful. Will last for years for my nephew, thank you very much.
