Telling the Time Activity Book: 1 (Maths Activity Books) : Lara Bryan, Usborne Publishing Ltd: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Fun activities - Fun way of learning to tell the time. Nephew enjoys learning this way as it is visual and the book is in colour. Review: Covers everything on telling the time. - My son (6) is really struggling to tell the time and I wanted to find a new and engaging book. This book covers everything you will need to know about telling the time. It starts and O’clock and half past, quickly progresses to 5 mins past etc. It also practises the concept of time moving on and calculating that eg I arrived at 1 and left 30 minutes later. You can make your own clock. It does digital clocks, even roman numerals. Its really good quality and colourful with great illustrations. Interesting also with pirates, princesses, little creatures as characters. It feels like a book / puzzle book as there are things to read then do. I suspect it will last a couple of years as some concepts you will introduce and then go back to later. So I shall treat it as such, I shall let you know how I get on :)

Great book
Great book for helping kids learn how to tell the time. Would recommend. This version does not have the stickers that previous versions had, but still a very good workbook.

Engaging and beneficial
An engaging way of learning to tell the time, it also covers wider concepts of time and duration, etc. My 7-year-old enjoyed completing it, especially the quick quizzes to be able to award himself stars. Perfect for year two lockdown homeschool maths!

There are two price tags, 350 and 399. Wonder which one is the true price. I'd ordered the book after watching a video online. However, the quality of the pages is different. It is printed in China on matt finish paper. There are a couple of differences in examples but nothing major. Deals with analog and digital clocks, timelines and timezones. I think the original concept is interesting so that kids learn in an engaging manner. Only thing is I'm not convinced about the pricing. Full marks to Amazon for timely delivery though.

Why give your kids a black and white workbook when you can give them this one which is in full color? The best way for kids to retain information is through play and these books are playful. Students answer questions occasionally with pencils, but more often they are invited to use markers or the provided stickers. My son and I enjoy this Usborne math sticker activity book series and we have completed them all. You'll find "Addition and Subtraction", "Charts and Graphs", "Multiplication and Division", "Measuring Things", and "Fractions, Percentages, and Decimals". I give the whole series five stars!

Good quality book but very confusing and a lot going on I suggest this for an older child not a jk/sk child

I’m rarely impressed I enough to write a review but after a very discouraging search for a good workbook for teaching time to my 6 year old I can say I am elated to have found this. Made in the UK and it shows. Very well done. Will have to get a second copy for second child.

This is not a USA version unfortunately. So telling time is just a bit different. It does still have some great activities though that can still be used.
