Forlife Stump Teapot - 400ml Capacity - Red

So expensive but well made teapot for one. Fell in love with these whilst on holiday in the UK. Just enough for a mug of loose leaf tea for one. Excellent mesh inner so no need of a strainer. Spout is a good pour, no drips. Always loved a loose tea, much stronger than tea bags and this teapot is perfect for one.

Excellent quality and makes a top brew.

Firstly, try & avoid the many cheaper imitations. This one cost a few pounds more but is well worth it - this I measure against the many review comments I've seen of the others versus my own experience with this Forlife Stump Teapot 400 mL 13 Oz.(=just short of 400 ml). I've always been one for tea bags but brewing tea using loose-leaf tea does make a significant difference for the better. The teapot design is simple and effective, and that includes the removable strainer that sits at the top, under the metal lid. No dripping as you pour either. The carrot colour was also as expected, bright orange & glossy.

I love this teapot! Very sturdy, solid, non flimsy, weighty and perfect for 1 mug full, 2 cups. I use loose leaf tea instead of all the herbal stuff and what not that you can get, and it is perfect. The only thing that lets it down is the price. Hence only 4 star.

For mywife's tea

This For Life Stump teapot is a very good product. It is very well made and the range of colours is wide and give a very good finish to the pot. They perform really well with no drips on pouring. The internal tea strainer is certainly an advantage and the pot is well-balanced when holding in the hand. The shape and overall design is very attractive and stable when in use. The metal lid is a practical consideration because it makes the pot stackable should you need that facility. If there was also a version that came with a self-coloured lid it would be even more attractive to more buyers I'm sure. All in all an excellent teapot!

Great piece of kit but, even if you pre heat the pot and the mug by the time the tea is brewed its dramatically cooled down. We like it, but its not possible to get a hot cup of tea.

Nice well made tea pot, it pours nicely and i don’t get leaves at the bottom of my cup. like i do with the 3 other horrible rubbish ones i bought on amazon. It looks nice too and it sold built. £27 is alot to ask, but after the other ones i bought, it’s worth the money. Now better get back to my cup of earl grey finally a nice cup of tea!
