This UV, UVC detection card works great. I was surprised that even indirect sunlight gives a slight UV reading. In direct sunlight, the UV indication is immediate and strong. I bought this mainly to detect UV from lights in the house because my wife just had cataract surgery and has the premium lenses installed that will be adjusted in the office with UV light. She has to wear UV blockers until the final UV adjustment is made in the office. The new lenses in her eyes are amazing. Within days she was reading the 20/30 line and can read small print. You only need 20/40 to pass the driving test in WA state. The 20/30 should improve with subsequent UV treatments.

This is great. Back when Covid happened I had ordered UV lamp to sterilize items. I was skeptical whether it was actually the right wavelength. Now I have confirmed it is truly UVC. Whereas, UV flashlight that I have is not UVC. And so the flashlight is relatively safe for the eyes. This just confirms that the card works. Now I will be curious to use this in the daytime to see how much exposure I'm getting so I can avoid getting sunburns and skin cancer. One little point of clarification is that the side that says UV means A or B. It does not light up from my UVC emitter.

Seems to work great and easy to carry with you

Basic readings, more for detection than measuring intensity but will do the trick. I got this for my UV light filtration system for my furnace. The bulbs run almost $100/ea so I'd rather check rough intensity to determine replacement than just replacing them on a 12 month schedule. Also found this card to come in handy for measuring a UV flashlight and my various sunglasses as to which are better filtering and which less.

The intensity side works well, but I am not certain about the UV/UVC side, since it shows UV detected but just barely reveals the UVC indicator although I do think there is UVC light being cast.

Tried using the card on a new Germ Guardian UV Air filter. The card indicated no UV light. Tried a new bulb and again the card indicated no UV. Does NOT work.

Great product. Works perfectly. At first thought UVC part doesn’t work but then noticed their advice to use phone camera because it’s much harder to see those letters pop up with a naked eye

Used this to check uv sensitivity of face masks. Seems to be effective with checking UVA and and UVB. First was with dark tinted mask that blocks UVA and UVB, second was with mask that mentioned uvA and uvB protection but did NOT and third picture was in direct sunlight. See attached for photos.
