What's the difference between the ev-906 and the EV-805? Except for the charging port and buttons, they seem the same. Do they have the same battery?

Did not purchase unit that requires a battery; expect many hours of use , would not purchase a unit that requires battery replacement.

What is the frequency range, and is the frequency adjustable?

Cannot find the copy of the manual. I delivered the unit to an assisted living facility and it's being used on a 77 year old friend. Don't recall any mention of the particular frequencies used; however it has two difference modes of operation plus it has an adjustable strength output. It's a nice unit.

Can the polarity/direction of current be reversed?

It's not likely without getting inside of the device. But why would you want to? Just reverse the connections to the electrodes.
