Review: Short - Good Review: A rare piece - It was definitely a difficult read for me given that it has a lot of cultural references ofthe USA that too of the 60s. But, what writing!! These are some of the best essays on counter cultural movements and self reflections I have read. They come from a place of pure observation without any judgement. Yet, they leave you with something, a visual that's too fatal and enchanting at the same time. This was my first Didion and the book isn't about me or the place I belong to. It's about a world I have never ventured in and yet the author resonates. Such a rare piece.
