Quaker Oat So Simple Original Porridge Pot, 8 x 50g

Simple, easy and filling porridge. Perfect for in the mornings at work and best to let it settle for about 2 or 3 minutes before eating.

Delicious when you want porridge at work! Not too sweet for me - i add a bit of jam to mine! i have porridge flakes at home and preparing that is messy and annoying. These pots are easy and the perfect portion!

There is nothing wrong with these - they are tasty and very convenient. At the price I got them they were reasonably good value too. My issue is that they are inevitably going to be overpriced - it's the convenience that you're paying for. Exactly the same results can be obtained by combining rolled oats (Jumbo Oats are not the best as they take too long to adsorb the water) two teaspoons of instant milk powder and sugar / sweetner to taste. My point is that there is nothing special about these oats apart from the fact they're in their own container.

Ok but why do they add sugar. Ones from M&S don't and their pots are bigger. Much nicer without sugar, then you can add if required.

Although this product taste nice it is no different to the cheaper version cold outburst which is 3 for £1 so it is just the brand name you are paying for outburst is available in B&M home bargains poundstretchers Sainsbury's Tesco's all different prices but B&M is the cheapest

I've tried quite a few different porridge pots but can honestly say that this is the best for me taste wise. So easy and quick and no washing up. They're great!

waste of money, I suspect the container is of more value than the sum od it's parts!!!
