Great bit and fairly priced leaves a smooth round over

I've used Freud table saw blades and found them excellent. I need this specific bit for a project using a 1-1/2 hp router by hand and this bit worked flawlessly. Cuts are quick, smooth, accurate, effortless. I really liked that I could get just this bit without buying a set and without breaking the bank account.

Used it to make rounded edges on some walnut. The bit was sharp and had no issues on the wood after I ran them through.

Have used Freud bits before. They tend to cost a bit more than others you can find around Amazon. But from my experience, you're paying for sharpness and how long it takes to dull out. I needed to put 1/8" Radius cuts on the edges of a slab of HDPE. Didn't even feel the tool cut the material, and the finish left behind was near polished. Very happy & satisfied with how the cutter handled, still looks like the bit was never even used. Can always recommend paying up for Freud bits on finish projects!

I'm a woodworker and I find having an 1/8 radius bit handy to knock the outside edges down on doors, face frames or molding. I like Freud's bits, they are very consistent, pretty reliable and durable. I don't give this bit 5 stars because I find 1/4" shanks a pain to work with.

This is a fantastic high quality round over bit from a trusted name in the business. I needed a round over bit to make quick work of knocking off the edges on a bathroom vanity I'm building and didn't want to hand sand all the edges. I vacillated between this 1/8" bit or the 1/16" bit and I'm glad I went with this one. I can't imagine that a sixteenth of an inch would be any less sharp that the regular cut corner. The 1/8" round over is almost imperceptible itself until you "see" it or feel it. What I mean by "see it" is I showed a sample piece I tried to my wife (one of the boards in the photos) and she was like "what am I looking at?" and I had her feel the corner and it was then she was "Ohhhhh, that's nice and soft". Basically this bit did exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. I was able to round off all sharp edges in just a few minutes with a quick pass of a finishing router and done. Worked out great. If I need any more router bits I will definitely be shopping Freud for their reputation and quality products.

Just received the router bit, did a great job. Cut was smooth, no chatter as it was cutting. Very sharp, because it is a Freud I expect it to hold up quite well, just like all my other Freud products.

Fantastic bit. Sharp, cuts well and doesn’t burn the wood. I highly recommend it.
