Best price performance ratio
Application was easy, nice consistency, not too runny and not overly thick either. It spreads well and doesn’t make a mess. The 4g tube is more than enough for a couple of installs, which is nice. After applying it, I saw a noticeable drop in temps compared to what I was using before. Under load, everything stays cooler and stable, which gives me a bit more peace of mind. Overall, solid performance and easy to work with. I’d definitely use it again for future builds.

Does exactly what it’s meant to
Very good product and does what it’s supposed to. Easy to apply and works well for keeping temperatures under control. Used it on a CPU and saw stable temps with no issues. Good quality thermal paste and a reliable choice if you’re building or maintaining a system.

Good performing thermal paste.
This is a good quality thermal paste. Applied this to a Ryzen 7 9700X, with a good quality cooler, and the CPU rarely goes close to 50 degrees C. This obviously also depends on the load on the CPU but with a cheaper thermal paste it was frequently getting to 60 or higher under the same work conditions. The paste is quite thick and can be quite hard to get out of the applicator but with sufficient pressure it will release the paste. There is plenty of paste in the syringe for multiple applications. If you use all of the paste in a single application then you have put way too much on. While the MX-6 is a little more expensive than some other thermal paste it is worth it as, from my experience, it does help to transfer the heat from the CPU better than the cheaper pastes.

Large tube. Easy to use. Good quality.
Easy to use. Bit big tube could have easily done 3 cpu’s

Great price and performance
Artic is my goto paste for cost and performance. Used on both my CPU and GPU with great success. Yes it’s a little thicker than some pastes, just warm it up a little before use and all is good.

Excellent product in UK home office environment - way cooler
Holy moly! UK temps in home office. 5 year old Dell 7070 micro machines fans constantly kicking in, VERY high CPU temps 70C+ and degraded comms. On inspection, original thermal paste rock hard and no good. Bought the 4g of this, applied to 3 of these machines with a good lot left over, audit tracking at 15-17 degrees cooler and way less noise from fans. Had to check one was still actually working! Excellent product definitely recommend as a maintenance product for CPU cooling.

new stuff works well
A high-quality thermal paste with great performance, one of the most well-known brands, which has proven through time that it works well in keeping the temperature down. The newest version of the paste, and it seems to work well

I was initially skeptical about replacing my trusty old thermal paste, but the Arctic MX-6 has completely won me over. This thermal paste is a revelation! Performance: * Exceptional Cooling: The MX-6 delivers outstanding cooling performance, significantly reducing CPU temperatures, even under heavy load. My system runs cooler and quieter than ever before. * Long-lasting: The paste's formula ensures long-lasting performance, eliminating the need for frequent reapplications. Ease of Use: * Smooth Application: The paste spreads evenly and easily, making the application process a breeze. No more messy cleanups or uneven spreads. * Non-Conductive: The non-conductive nature of the paste provides peace of mind, protecting your components from potential damage. Value for Money: * Affordable Excellence: The MX-6 offers incredible value for money. It's a budget-friendly option that rivals high-end thermal pastes in terms of performance. Overall: If you're looking to upgrade your thermal solution, the Arctic MX-6 is an excellent choice. It's a reliable, high-performance thermal paste that will keep your system running cool and stable for years to come. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch thermal solution without breaking the bank.

Works great, more then enough to cover cpu. It's very viscous, so you have to spread it out by putting the cooler on. Thermal performance is amazing.

Initial Impressions: The Arctic MX-6 arrives in simple, no-frills packaging with a protective cap and an applicator included. The syringe design makes application straightforward, and the paste itself has a smooth consistency—thicker than some cheaper pastes but still easy to spread. Build Quality & Design: Arctic has a strong reputation for thermal compounds, and the MX-6 feels like a refinement of their earlier MX-4 and MX-5 formulas. The paste doesn’t separate or run, and it has a dense texture that stays where you put it. The syringe is sturdy and precise, allowing for controlled application without waste. Ease of Use & Performance: Application was simple—just a pea-sized dot on a CPU before installing the cooler. The paste spread evenly under pressure, with no air bubbles or excess mess. In testing, CPU temps dropped a few degrees compared to my older MX-4 paste, and load stability was excellent. The performance gain isn’t dramatic if you already use a high-quality thermal paste, but it’s noticeably better than stock compounds or budget pastes. Arctic claims long-term durability, which is consistent with their past products that often last 5+ years without drying out. Value & Comparisons: MX-6 is a little pricier than older versions, but the performance, stability, and ease of use justify the cost. It doesn’t have the highest thermal conductivity on the market compared to exotic liquid metal compounds, but it’s much safer (non-conductive, non-corrosive) and more user-friendly. For everyday builders and gamers, it strikes an excellent balance. Pros: • Smooth, easy-to-apply consistency • Non-conductive and non-corrosive • Noticeable improvement over stock/budget pastes • Long lifespan without drying out • Safer than liquid metal options Cons: • Slightly more expensive than MX-4/MX-5 • Gains are modest if upgrading from a good paste • Not as extreme as liquid metal compounds Verdict: The Arctic MX-6 is a dependable, user-friendly thermal paste that offers a solid balance of cooling performance, safety, and longevity. It won’t replace liquid metal for extreme overclockers, but for most PC builders and gamers, it’s one of the best all-around options on the market today.
