Reliable and Convenient PC Power Supply Tester.
I have been using this PC power supply tester for a while now and it has proven to be an invaluable tool for both troubleshooting and assembly. It supports a wide range of connectors including ATX, ITX, IDE, SATA, PCI-e, and EPS, making it compatible with virtually any desktop power supply I have worked with. The 1.8-inch LCD screen is bright, clear, and easy to read, displaying voltages on each rail accurately. It immediately alerts you with both visual warnings and an audible beep if any voltage is outside the standard range, which makes identifying faulty units quick and straightforward. The tester’s aluminum alloy enclosure is sturdy, lightweight, and feels premium compared to most plastic testers on the market. The unit also includes a protective film over the LCD to prevent scratches during transport and storage. Its compact size makes it easy to carry or store in a toolbox. I appreciate the thoughtful design: each connector is clearly labeled, the device powers on instantly when plugged into a PSU, and it does not require any batteries. I have tested multiple new and older power supplies with it, and the readings have always been consistent with my multimeter. For anyone building, repairing, or diagnosing PCs, this tester is a must-have. It saves time, reduces guesswork, and ensures that your power supply is functioning correctly before connecting expensive components. Highly recommended for both hobbyists and professionals.

PSU Tester tool to check dead PSU
A PSU tester is a useful, inexpensive “first-pass” tool. It’s great for basic checks: dead PSUs, obviously faulty units, or ensuring rails nominally output correct voltages before building a PC. Pros: Safe and easy to use Affordable & handy for basic diagnostics Cons: Only tests idle output, not under-load behavior No check for power quality

Works great - intermittently
Works great most of the time. Sometimes it starts to analyze then makes a pop and shuts off. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was able to use it again on a different power supply and it worked great for analyzing every plug. Then I tried it again on the first one and same outcome. Not sure why that one power supply shuts it down but if you have only that one power supply you want to analyze and it is similar to it, you are going to think it doesn’t work. Otherwise, recommended inexpensive tool! (If I ever figure out why that one doesn’t work, I’ll update this review -but don’t hold your breath!)

A Must-Have Diagnostic Tool for Any PC Technician or Builder
As an IT consultant and repair specialist, I’ve tested my fair share of power supply testers, but this one stands out for all the right reasons. The Computer PC Power Supply Tester with its 1.8" LCD screen and aluminum alloy enclosure is a sleek, reliable, and highly functional addition to my toolkit. 🔧 What I Love: • Wide Compatibility: Supports ATX, ITX, IDE, SATA, HDD, and BYI connectors, making it incredibly versatile for diagnosing a range of power supplies. • Clear LCD Display: The 1.8" screen provides real-time voltage readings that are easy to read and interpret. No guesswork, just straightforward diagnostics. • Durable Build: The aluminum alloy casing feels premium and rugged. It’s built to withstand the wear and tear of daily use in a repair shop environment. • Plug-and-Play Simplicity: No software or setup required. Just connect the power supply and get instant feedback. Perfect for quick diagnostics or confirming PSU health before installation. • Compact & Portable: Small enough to fit in a tool bag, yet powerful enough to be a go-to device for troubleshooting. ⚠️ Minor Consideration: • It doesn’t include a carrying case, which would’ve been a nice touch, but that’s hardly a dealbreaker given its solid construction. 🧠 Final Thoughts: Whether you're building PCs, repairing systems, or just want peace of mind before powering up a rig, this tester delivers. It’s accurate, fast, and built like a tank. I’ve already recommended it to colleagues, and it’s earned a permanent spot on my workbench.

Easy to use and works as advertised
Excellent piece of kit. Got tired of guessing if a no-boot problem was the PSU, the case, or something else. After shorting the power switch on the mobo, this simple and cheap gadget saves me from having to swap PSUs.

Reliable PSU Tester with Clear Instructions and Accurate Results
This PSU tester is a fantastic tool for diagnosing power supply issues! The 24-pin connector is a snug fit, but it works perfectly once connected. The instructions included were thorough, written clearly in English, and made the process of plugging everything in straightforward. I really appreciated the beeps that let me know when it was ready for the 4p, 6p, and 8p connectors (didn’t try Molex or SATA, but I’m sure they’d work just as well). It helped me confirm a failed power supply—just keep in mind that the tester is powered by the 24-pin, so if the PSU is completely dead, the tester won’t light up. I tested it with a second PSU, and the device worked perfectly, showing accurate voltages. The only downside is that it didn’t include instructions for unplugging, but that’s minor and doesn’t affect its performance. Highly recommend this tool for anyone troubleshooting PC power issues!

WHICH WAY TO PLUG IN THE SATA PLUG.
needs better instructions. the SATA plug has no instructions on how to plug it in. so i plug the SATA with the wires Faceing down and no green lights . so plug the SATA with the wires faeing up and all the green lights worked. this could have been a dangerous problem for me ,but it turn out ok no smoke, the second problem is they is no clip for the 24 pin power cord to hold it in. however it does work good.
