Good value for money
Not the strongest rod but good enough for kids , good quality reel better than expected Good value for money

Cheap n cheerful
Its been about 20 years since I last fished; as the campsite I was taking my kids to had a little (inland) fishing and so I decided it would be good to get this just to teach the kids and have some fun.WARNING: 15 Seconds after my first cast I got a pretty big fish which snapped the line. So I recommend buying some new "decent" line. Just in case you get lucky.The kit/equipment that ships with the rod is pretty weird and odd so I've mostly thrown it all out except for the line clipper/cutter and the rod holder.I look forward to doing some sea lure fishing one day, might get a decent reel, this reel is very plastic but it generally worked OK.The carry case is nice and handy also.

Poorly made
Don't waste your money on this rod. Broke the first time my daughter used it. It's poorly made, the rod itself is made of plastic, the reel wouldn't bring the line back in. I will be requesting a refund!!!

Reel broke
Was initially happy with everything I received although I’d never fished before, set up instructions would have been nice but YouTube to the rescue. Used the kit 3 times and on the third time the handle completely snapped off the reel and is not fixable. Maybe the fish was too heavy for the reel but I’ll never know as I couldn’t land it

Decent for the price
It was pretty cheap so I knew what to expect. It’s got a nice assortment of extra equipment like hooks and fake bait etc…The line is fairly strong but it can easily get tangled when reeling it in if you’re not careful. I’m not at all a pro at fishing, so this was fine for me, nothing special but it works.
