With a toddler in the house, we don't want some mosquito with West Nile virus making the little one sick. So we got this to take care of the nasty bugs. It works too. There is an old saying that "to make a red neck happy, give him a bug zapper to watch and a six-pack to drink." As my son said upon hearing that, "Dad, it isn't just red necks. Everybody likes to watch bug zappers." I can't speak to the entertainment value of this equipage (to my dismay, I don't have the leisure to watch bugs die) but it certainly slays the bugs. That counts for me. I like this so well that I might just get another on for the front porch. Who knows, I might want to sit there sometime and not get bit by a nat.

I guess I overlooked where it says the cord is only a foot long. I had a zapper before this one that worked really well and it burnt out and I thought this would be a better purchase with the brands popularity but I've had it for a while and it hasn't attracted 1 insect and I see them flying around, especially where I keep the device. It hasn't gone off once since I've had it and I checked the tray to make sure and it was empty. Also it slipped out of my hand and broke on the floor so now the tray is disconnected and In 2 pieces. Sometimes I think it's just a normal light inside of there but even normal lights attract moths. Maybe they developed a new kind of light that doesn't do anything, even properly illuminate the space it inhabits. If that interests you then I suppose it's a good buy. If you want it to be useful, I'd keep looking

I was drawn to this bug zapper electric lantern because of its sleek design and the promise of keeping my outdoor space mosquito-free. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Despite running it nightly, I noticed little to no reduction in the mosquito population around my patio. The device seemed to attract more moths than mosquitoes, which wasn’t helpful. I followed all the setup instructions carefully, ensuring it was placed in an optimal location, but the results were disappointing. On the positive side, the lantern is well-constructed and adds a nice aesthetic touch to the yard. Decided to return it. It’s a decent-looking product, but if you’re specifically aiming to reduce mosquitoes, this might not be the most effective solution.

Great & Solid 4 Stars!! The tray to catch dead bugs is easy to empty and the zapper is super easy to use & hang. It is a little shorter than a Barbie Doll and is fabulous for a tiny home, small trailer, or RV! It is pretty quiet too! I loved the Holiday sale price of $17 & feel that any thing under $25 is a good deal for this!

We bought this in May 2023, and I've waited until mid-August before writing this review. We're pleased with its results. It was in early May 2023 that we were outside for an evening, and my wife was bit 10-12 times in the back of the neck (looked like chicken pox for 10 days). We ordered this zapper the next day, left it on for 3-4 nights in a row, and then we checked the removable tray. "Those are the ones that got me," my wife said, recognizing their carcasses. Here we are in mid-August 2023, and we've run this device a couple nights a week every few weeks. We've had no problems with mosquitos this summer. For us, all the bug bits have fallen/collected into the removable tray. We hang this zapper on a plant hanger over a part of our yard, but we've kept the removable tray to see evidence that it's working. See for yourself (photo attached). This photo is what it collected after maybe 12 nightly cycles.

Good small bug-zapper. This bug zapper is bright enough to illuminate the garage it is in. Since it is still cold in my area, I don't know how it performs against flying insects. I hope it does a good job. the unit comes with a brush to clean the electric fence inside the zapper. It also comes with a hanger and plugs into a standard 2-prong outlet. I don't have to worry about a ground. Since it is plug in-there is no battery to worry about.

We used it for the first time last night. We saw 2 victims in the morning - both are flies. It works for flies but not small fruit flies or moths. So far we are happy with it.

Más de 2 semanas de instalado de forma continua en dónde las moscas y ni una sola mato., en el fondo le puse vinagre, refresco, comida y nada hizo que se hacercara. En fin Mala compra mía.
