RCA Roku TV 32" Smart TV, RK32HN1 32 Inch HD TV with Apple TV+ BBC Netflix Freeview, DVB-T2/T Dolby Audio HDMI USB, Ideal Television for Small Lounge

Purchased for my mam (late 60s) as she enjoys using the streaming apps on her phone or tablet but with her eyesight worsening I wanted to get her an easy to use smart(ish) tv. Tv arrived packaged well. The initial setup was super easy. It did require setting up a free Roku account to use the App Store but this only took 1 minute. We’re based in Ireland so it was great to get Irish apps like Rte player and NowTv on it quickly. Also super easy to remove apps which she would not use. The main Home Screen is super easy to navigate and she picked it up immediately. It’s less cluttered than more smart or premium offerings so perfect for an audience like this. WiFi connection proved no problem and it’s quick to connect to her hotspot when she uses it. Volume is incredibly high (which suits her) - I would say the video mode is eco friendly I believe when you first turn it on, but you can simply select other modes. I think we chose a vivid mode and the colours were punchy and bright going forward. Highly recommend for older users for the ease of use without the fluff.

I bought one of these for my kitchen. When I saw how good it is, I bought another one to put in my bedroom. I've put it on the kitchen wall and the other on its own stand. Easy to set up and great picture.

If, like me, you're after budget-friendly TV with impressive picture quality, this RCA 32" TV is definitely worth considering. Despite its affordable price point, this TV delivers really good clarity, fairly decent colour accuracy, and contrast, thanks to its 1080p resolution (surprising as most 32" TV's at this price point are 720p). Image quality is crisp and vibrant, making it ideal for streaming movies and TV shows. HDR is supported but, honestly, HDR on a panel like this won't be great thanks to light bleed from the backlight (a problem inherent to most TV's that are backlit and don't support local dimming). I wouldn't say it makes a great gaming TV, but paired with something like a Nintendo Switch this might be a good choice for a child's bedroom. This TV does have smart features, with streaming apps built-in. I haven't tried these as I'm not using this TV for that purpose. The settings menu lacks many advanced features of a HDR TV but has the basics covered. While the audio quality is decent, you might want to consider pairing this TV with external speakers or a sound bar. Bass is practically non-existent and music playback tends to be particularly tinny. Overall, this RCA TV offers great value for your money and is a solid option for anyone looking for a TV on a budget.

55" LCD TV Bought this as a replacement for our main TV as we fancied something larger, didn't want to spend the earth and needed something on a budget. Has good connectivity, as we have successfully connected our router, a PS4, Wii, Sony 5.1 Surround Sound DVD (Optical Connection) & Sky Q Box without needing to change over cables. Haven't tested the WiFi as have connected it directly to our router as this is next to our TV system, but no issues streaming by connecting it this way. Slightly limited viewing angles as screen looks a little washed out from the side, but that doesn't affect us, as we look directly at the screen. We are fans of the Roku OS, so it does what we expected, and has all the apps you'd expect i.e. Netflix, Disney, Amazon & Now TV etc... We've had it for about a month now, and despite the occasional minor glitch, which I expect is down to relatively limited processing power, it works perfectly. Sound is a little thin from the built in speakers and lacks bass for films and the like, but the sound is clear and loud enough for general viewing. With a sound bar or similar though, we have found no issues with the sound produced through our 5.1 surround sound system through the optical connection, it gives a good clear sound signal. We have connected this to the HDMI ARC port, so it switches on our connected sound system when we turn on the TV. This works great for us, as the TV remote controls the volume through ARC technology. Done a little light gaming, and for us, it has worked absolutely fine. Was a little nervous about this purchase, due to the price, which is the main reason for me writing this review, but as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations for a TV at this price, we have found this to be an excellent TV, with a nice clear bright picture & good colours. I can't speak about the longevity of this product, but at the time of writing, very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: Had it for almost a year now so thought I'd put on a quick update. Still happy, but there are a couple of minior glitches, which I might well expect for a TV of this size (55") at a budget price. The synchronization on the sound with our sound system, occasionally encounters a delay, with the sound and the picture having a noticeable delay. We switch off the TV and turn it in again when this happens (which incidentally turns on our surround sound system through the ARC technology, which is a nice feature) and then it syncs back up again, so a minor annoyance, but at this price, again, not a major issue. More concerningly, on a couple of occasions, the picture went funny, where it looked like it wasn't processing moving images correctly on streaming and through Sky. The menus weren't affected, just moving images, where the colours and image were affected to the point it wasn't watchable. Both times, I unplugged the TV, plugged it back in, and it worked fine again. So in summary, it isn't perfect, but for the price paid I wasn't expecting it. Assuming these glitches don't get worse, as it stands, delighted with this TV for the price I paid.

Great tv easy to install to wall mount, plus start up was really easy too

Worked great for 1 year... then completely broke! Read the reviews before buying, mentioning 'lines' on the TV, sure enough from the start they were there, but it functioned fine and didn't really affect it at the start so thought nothing more of it, assuming it must just be the LED arrangment. Then the screen started malfunctioning about the 1 year mark with dead pixels and massive lines appearing, with half the screen dissappearing at times, and now it just will not work at all, went dead (as shown in picture) I managed to get a full refund thankfully! But this is not a quality product. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money, will be using the refund money to purchase a more reliable make!

Exactly as described clear picture..good value for money

Bought for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas as her TV broke in her room a few weeks before hand. Wasn’t expecting much for the price but I’m really impressed. Volume is loud. Picture quality is great, easy to set up and connect to the internet. Overall a great purchase.

The best tv ever

Bought on Australian Amazon, but has an overseas incompatible wall plug which isnt mentioned anywhere on the ad. Very dissapointed.
