I'm sure its great for most obd2 systems but it will not ever work on the 2001 Ford Focus 1.8 tddi MK1, Fortunately for me the seller refunded and was very good about it. After quite a bit of research I have found out the pre 2003 diesels are not required to conform to obd2, the aforementioned car is obd1 hence it cannot communicate. This is pure OBD2 not OBD1. The reader itself looks the part and does turn on, the screen is clear and the instructions easy to follow. A cd is included which has the necessary software for your pc. One small issue apart from the above, is that the small usb port is a bit iffy when getting it to connect and this was a problem doing the update prior to attempting to use it, once connected I suggest strongly not touching it until the update has completed.

Very easy to use. One button to read code and another to delete. Option to also read the code from the menu so you can take a note of it

I originally got this after my wife rang to say the mini r56 had a red warning light come up on the dash. I was at work and panic set in, so after a quick hunt, this was on the way. After looking at the car it was a simple service reminder reset that was required 🙄. However, a month later I did manage to test it out! Fault came up with a fault on cylinder 3, quick check and the top gasket had failed causing the oil to go around the spark plug. Trip down to the auto factors and the car back up and running within a couple of hours. Worked an absolute treat!!

Found this product extremely useless, didnt work to my expectations and the staff at foxwell were very unhelpful about the matter. They dont refund items that are faulty!

Le produit est excellent même si celui là n'a pas fonctionné sur ma voiture un Golf 3 1996 essence 1.8 90cv standard l'appareil n'a pas de liaison avec la voiture, donc on ne peut pas savoir ni voir les codes d'erreurs de golf 3 en revanche il marche très bien sur Peugeot 207 et donne toutes l'informations nécessaires du moteur ainsi que les codes d'erreurs

Ho ricevuto il Foxwell OBD2 per auto diagnosi dopo solo due giorni d'attesa, come è già stato detto in altre recensioni è abbastanza semplice e intuitivo il suo utilizzo, chiaro che si tratta di uno strumento non professionale, ma più che adeguato a chi lo vuole utilizzare come semplice strumento di diagnosi di base e qualcosina in più, compito per cui è stato progettato e che assolve egregiamente, visto il prezzo lo consiglio a chi non vuole sorprese dal meccanico improvvisato e tuttofare . L'ho ricevuto nella sua confezione ben imballato e nei tempi ancora più brevi del previsto.

Mußte mir das Gerät zulegen, weil das Auto meiner Schwester aus dem Piepen nicht mehr raus kam. Alles ist leicht zu bedienen. Man kann Werte auslesen, von denen man bisher gar nichts wußte.Kennlinien der Zündung, Sauerstoffsättigung...alles interessant. Ich wollte aber nur den Fehler für das Piepen finden. War am Ende fehlende Bremsflüssigkeit. Hat mir aber das Gerät nicht angezeigt, sondern sytematisches Suchen. Sprachumstellung auf Deutsch ist nutzlos.Die Hauptbegriffe bleiben in englischer Sprache.Update nur bis Win7 möglich. Win8 und Win10 erkennen das Gerät nicht. Leider! Positiv: Diverse Fehlercodes sind im Gerät gespeichert. Da muß man nicht in endlosen Listen suchen. Allerdings nur in englischer Sprache. Fazit: Schöne Spielerei für große Jungs und Hobby-Schrauber. Und es beruhigt zu wissen: Die nächste Fehlermeldung ist meine!
